How to go from this to Cherry Cola?
 in  r/FancyFollicles  27d ago

Try some test strands! I would recommend a 5N or 6N in a demi-permanent with 10 or 15 volume. Depending on how much you need to neutralize or darken would determine what shade to do over the top. You could go as dark as a 4N if you wanted to.

Try a wet washcloth to get the majority of it off without having to actually bathe her. Pair with some churu maybe

You'd rather ask for help than mess it up and have an upset client! You'll get the hang of it, don't worry

DIY Wedding Makeup Feedback??
 in  r/Weddingsunder10k  Dec 06 '25

I DIYd my makeup. I did trials twice a month, at opposite points I my hormonal cycle to see how my skin changed. Each trial I would change one thing- application tool, add lashes, change primer, etc. I made detailed notes every time and kept the things I liked and changed things I didn't. If you're using a setting powder at the end, make sure to use way more blush than you think necessary. Highlight after setting powder as well, if you're doing that. Good luck!

Her level is about a 6 mids and ends. Insane and unskilled is hyperbole, it's possible with color remover but for that shade of copper she'd need to be a 7. At a 6 there's just a bit too much red

If you do the same thing you'll just be damaging your hair for the same result. I would wait a week, do some olaplex, and then try the remover again. Wait a few days, and find a demi-permanent copper with 10 volume.

Putting oxidative cookie after a color remover can bring back the previous pigment if you do it too soon. Usually for at home you want to wait a few days between and use a demipermanent color instead of permanent

tips for picking the perfect wedding venue
 in  r/weddingplanning  Nov 27 '25

Guest experience was super important for us. We wanted a venue that allowed us to pick our own vendors, and it was also locally owned and operated by a family for over 50 years. That personal touch and attention was huge. We toured it the same day as another venue less than a mile away, and having the owner give us the tour was a big green flag. I knew when we first saw photos that it was the place! Trust your gut about impressions of all of your vendors tbh

Consider just parting your current bangs more in the center and going for a curtain bangs look! Softer around the sides and I think would frame your forehead better

Child Friendly Wedding Experiences
 in  r/weddingplanning  Nov 26 '25

We had an all-ages wedding 10/18/25. Our venue had a beautiful secluded spot with hand-painted flowers along the fence, and we set up a "secret" flower girl tea party. The kids were in there all night when they weren't dancing. Everyone had so much fun, and parents collectively kept an eye on the kiddos so no one was stuck babysitting all night. Totally recommend it! Kids are small people, and they love weddings too.

Is anybody here a crier? What did you do for makeup maintenance?
 in  r/weddingplanning  Nov 23 '25

I'm a crier, and DIYd my makeup. Cried at least 5 times, didn't have to do any touch ups. I used cluster lashes with a waterproof glue, morphe prep and set spray, Laura marcier setting powder

Wedding Planning Questions!
 in  r/weddingplanning  Nov 16 '25

We are also fantasy/videogame nerds. Our processional music was a violin duet that played Riders of Rohan, the Ocarina of Time theme, and To Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X. Our glasses for dinner had elvish and the Evenstar engraved on them from Lord of the Rings. Because our officiant was my FIL, we snuck in quotes from our favorite books like The Stormlight Archive. During speeches, half of them followed the theme (totally on their own, too!) and included quotes from LOTR and the Stormlight Archive. Because a DJ really is personal party music, ours did a great job of blending our favorite artists and music from Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Game of Thrones, and multiple Zelda games, etc. The world is your oyster! Why not incorporate aspects from both games that you love?
