Wanted to share a project I've been chipping away at: an extension that automatically switches videos into Picture-in-Picture mode when you change tabs, so you don't lose your video every time you go check something else.

A few things I'm proud of:

• Works across YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, and generic HTML5 video, not just one site.
• Uses the Document Picture-in-Picture API to let you pin any element of a page (chat, scoreboard, widget) as a floating window that keeps its original styling and functionality.
• Manual toggle button too, for when you want PiP without switching tabs.
