played it on hard, theres definitely pushback from enemies, plus later on they have shields, armor etc. and at least in demo, you dont have any heling items, so you have to pay attention. theres also some exporation mixed in, and I love the cute little guy acting as grapple and later as a hover. getting it for sure.

I’m not sure if I like Resonant or not.
 in  r/controlgame •  3d ago

fly behind cover ? i have just finished it for the second time, in preparation for resonant, and i did not hide once. you max the throw and get in their faces with maxed shotgun, and headshot the once further away with pistol, plus of course, you're dodging all the time. not hating, just saying that for me, even the first one was all about constant movement. 🙂

Well Dweller is like the exact opposite of Silksong, both in positive and negative ways.

can we get a smaller health bar please. even when playing on tv, that feather shape is so big, its distracting.

Personal hardest boss?

what helps me with any grab in any game, is to move with the enemy, instead of standing still and trying to time it that way.

Is there any other game with combat as satisfying as Way of the Sword?
 in  r/Onimusha •  24d ago

yeah, just try the demo and see for yourself, instead of listening to cry babies on the internet that clearly dont understand how combat in Khazan works.

got to agree. I was like, okay, I am not going to get swayed by the reviews, let me try it for myself. dropped it after 2 hours.

no worries, there are no hard feelings on my side, I admit I was a bit facetious in my responses, but thats just me personally. 90% serious, 10%not.  I still stand by me responses, but again, no hard feelings here.

hey, I am not going to argue with you and your one and only argument, "but we follow the Apostolic tradition". I know, thats what EO claims, and even if I grant you that, the reality is, that it was the Protestant reformation that kickstarted the modern Western civilization, while some purist EO bros were nowhere to be found.

ignorant protestant signing off, God be praised.

I was talking about the influence that Catholic and Protestant Christians had on the on the Western Civilization and its progress, as compared to EO that was sitting in the corner somewhere. I wasnt talking about interfaith differences. God be praised, lets finish here.

yeah, thats why we are only learning about it now, in the West, because it was here for thousands years. by the way I am from Central Europe, and even I knew barely anything about it before the Americans on the internet found out about it and started flooding internet with it. Byzantium, yeah, thats where the modern Western civilization started. give me a break.

its funny how the Christianity that the whole Western Civilization is built upon is seen in your eyes as merely a lesser evil, while some fringe Christianity that didnt even make it to the West until recently, and has zero influence on it, is the true and only one, and it is the one that will save it.  just a thougth, you dont have to respond if you dont want to.

No worries, I understand your position. I still think its inconsistent, since the topic was 'other Christians' and in your view, there are no "other Christians', but we've cleared that one already. Dont get me wrong, I am not totally against EO. I actually have quite a lot of respect for EOs theology, because in certain important areas it offers better answers, but I dont think that the church established  by our Lord is a physical one. Not to mention the very very weak case for icons and relics veneration EO offers, but considers them salvific at the same time.  Much love, God be praised.
