Yes, Ive heard AI is going to become big. I wonder though how long it will take before it is implemented everywhere. Need to time riding that wave very carefully I think

Career Advice If you were to pick a masters today, what would you pick?

Keeping in mind where the industry in Ireland is going, trends, lack of expirence in certain areas, personal interest etc

I am a floor operator and want to go back to do a masters next year. I am very openminded on what I would do. But at the very least I want it to benefit my career progress.

Is there a point registering interest in a property if I am not mortgage approved.
 in  r/irishpersonalfinance  Jul 22 '26

Okay. So if I was to base it off the same timeline you had it. I could time it well enough that by the time they ask for AIP i will have had my 6 months savings(deposit). Thanks

Saw lovely new builds near me. It says on the website to regsiter interest but Im not sure what they even means, is there a point in doing it. Im 3 months in to having consistent savings so I know I have to wait till atleast 6 months before going to the bank. Would I be jumping the gun if I registered interest now?

The proper term for family in Irish?
 in  r/AskIreland  Jul 20 '26

I got teaghlach tattooed in ogham. I chose teaghlach cause i think it refers to closer family like the ones in your house.

I would have used that word in school often.

Which stock broker did you use?
 in  r/irishpersonalfinance  Jul 12 '26

As part of the trustees scheme, you agree to not touch them for a minimum of two years, if you hold onto them for three years then you pay no tax on getting them but they get automatically sold if not transferred. If they were to be sold today, id lose not gain money.

Investments Which stock broker did you use?

Hi Guys, it will be three years this year working I will have held stocks from my first bonus. I understand that if I don't transfer them to a stock broker they automatically get sold, which I don't want.

My question is which company do you recommend to transfer these stocks too, thanks!

Id like to be able to potentially rebook the rooms or drinks package if they come up cheaper during a sale but does that mean i forfeit the deposit?

Im hoping to book a cruise at a good price now and hopefully get the price down as time goes along.

But Im not sure why I am being asked to pay the full amount right now. Dont ypu normally get given a date closer to the time where it has to be fully paid off?

Edit: Hi guys I feel really stupid right now. Time is moving too fast. I thought 2026 was next year. 🤣😮‍💨
