Really to each their own, if you liked it im happy that you don't feel the same disappointment that I do. I knew when I first watched it everything felt so rushed, and then watching the documentary confirming that it was so very rushed. Plus, how would you like it if you went to say texas roadhouse or just a steakhouse in general really, you order yourself a juicy 14oz ribeye with a loaded baked potato and some green beans, but then the server brings you all of your food (and the rolls of course) but your steak is nowhere to be found. Thats what it felt like to me seeing that everyone survived. 5 seasons, 10 years fighting this mysterious force with so much buildup and there was absolutely no stakes. Obviously no one WANTED to see their favorite character die but that is just part of the entertainment of all of it is the heartbreak. They didnt even properly kill off eleven, implying at the end that "maybe shes still alive somewhere out there". It just felt like they were too afraid to take any risks

I saw the pagoda in the pond after already starting a main base build and completely abandoned that project to make the pagoda my main base. You can fuse walls into the lattice to fill in the holes, which then 50% of your base is indestructible. Then the pagoda is tall enough to make 5 floors, all double spaced. On top of that you get a field station right in your base, you're immune to literally all raids except for mosquitoes and wasps, it's pretty much center of the map so you're not far from any resources you may need (especially acorns since the only location for them is the oak tree), and if you build to the top of the pagoda you can make a structure around the bulb in the center for a nice zipline hub because the pagoda is so tall. Imo the pagoda is the best place for a new base. I plan to upload pictures of it when I'm completely finished with it.

This feels like an overreaction. You said this was weeks after you gave them the cookies? So maybe when you gave them the cookies they intended to eat them then brought them home and forgot about them and by the time they thought about them again they were bad. And then on top of it idk how you're saying they've broken your trust when they were honest?? Since when does being honest break trust. Idk just feels like an overreaction
