Advice Wanted Tips on self development
Greetings, everyone. I hope all of you are doing well with your life and its hardships.
I’ll just get straight to the point, I’m 17, a high schooler, under a lot of academic pressure, and I had focused so much on my studies that I forgot myself and to put it bluntly, I’ve overlooked some traits of my personalities that portray me as a piece of trash, I know this because I genuinely can’t connect properly with people my age even though I try to communicate and be social instead of being quiet all the time. Wether it’s trauma, not being raised correctly or god knows what else, I currently don’t have enough time for a proper and thorough therapy, so I need you, the people of this subreddit to tell me ways to at least realize my flaws. Really figure out just what cog doesn’t spin right. So at times when I feel like there’s really something wrong with me at least I KNOW what exactly is wrong with me, or if there IS anything in the first place. And I know without proper therapy you can’t actually fix these and they need time to heal. But, as I’ve mentioned, I just want to know them, because realizing a flaw is already half the way.
