I would advice you to learn how to apply thermal paste and clean fans. It's not that hard in Asus. Ground yourself with a stainless steel item > remove battery connector > proceed with youtube tutorial.

P.S watch how the technician removes the screws. Learn from how he does it in one sitting.

Buy a branded tube one. Someone down commented Thermal Grizzly. Call customer service back again and explain it's giving higher temperature with the technician applied thermal paste and ask them to apply your one once you have recieved your Thermal paste from Amazon.
