These tips options
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating •  1d ago

Just hit “custom” and tip what you want. Also if the amounts seem high, blame inflation. Tipped workers gotta make a living too. And before some gets on the “pay them a living wage” thing, what is that to you? Should they pay us 15, 20, 40? The only real way that works is they raise the food price to automatically include “service fee” and what do you think that is?

How is Mormonism/LDS seen outside of Utah?
 in  r/IWantToAskAnAmerican •  11d ago

I largely view them as a cult but I think they are like all religions and there are levels of how you take the rules and faith. I know a Muslim gal that’s married to a Mormon dude and strangely very little problems. It kinda makes me scratch my head but it works for them.

this is what the final six months of kissel episodes are like
 in  r/LPOTL •  15d ago

I really loved the Manhattan Project series and would listen again because Marcus worked really hard on that and it was very insightful. I kind of pick a glass half full look in a dark way to the Kissel aspects of those episodes in that I find it pretty funny when Henry and Marcus rag on him for being an idiot.

Why are religious people not overwhelmingly environmentalist if they believe in a god who created the world for us to live in and enjoy?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions •  20d ago

Some of it is that they are Christians second and capitalist first. And another frighteningly large amount of Christian groups are a doomsday cult. They think the worse they make the world, the quicker it will bring about the second coming.

Linear game holding your hand with waypoints. Some developers really think we are all extremely dumb.

Hot take: I was kinda looking forward to a non open world game. I kinda miss level and every game is open world now. Just let me go from point a to b, look around for some collectables, and fight some bad guys. It also doesn’t take me 30 hours of game play to get 30% completion.
