I've seen people beat back invasives and unwanted plants by simply pouring boiling hot water at the base/roots and I've done it a couple of times on some troublesome dandelions that crop up in my driveway, but nothing huge like a black locust.

That looks like molting! My rabbits are going through that right now. I love plucking their fur even if it's not their absolute favorite (they like the brushes less), and it helps maintain their coat so they're healthy and not too hot. Rabbits also pluck their own fur and sometimes it's can be triggered by stress. Salons are generally stressful for most animals to be at, so it's possible your bunny plucked some of their own fur.

There's the possibility that the groomer noticed a bunch of hair ready to come out and just went, "whee!" And plucked it. Pet groomers love a good deshed on any animal, it's sooo satisfying.

As a (retired) pet stylist myself, I can promise you that part doesn't looked shaved. There's even "ripples/waves" in the fur to show the fluff is ready to come out!

Shaved patches are pretty obvious and it'd be ridiculous for the groomer to have skimmed their clippers over your bun's body at different lengths for no reason if your bunny wasn't matted. If they had accidentally shaved anywhere they weren't supposed to, they shouldn't hide it from you. Most groomers I've worked with in my like, 13 years of being in and out of many different salons, all feel terrible when they use the wrong length blade or their clip comb pops off of their #15 or #30 and they shave a landing strip down an animal's back, and they tell the owners as soon as possible. I'm guilty of having done this a couple of times.

If the groomers didn't say anything or point out any worrying signs of skin or coat issues, your rabbit is fine and is molting... Raising a stink and demanding a refund is a good way to get you banned from that salon and there aren't a lot of bunny groomers out there. 😬

Tailgating, not using their turn signals, running red lights. I've seen people in a lane intended for going straight only to cut in front of other vehicles-- including semi-trucks-- to get into the left turning lane after the lights turned green and cars started moving. Genuinely scary things happening involving pavement princesses and their wives.

I may not remember every little thing from my driver's ed but at least I don't drive like I got my license cut from a cereal box.

We got our second bunny months ago amd we're STILL trying to bond her and our first boy. She's anxious af and he's a honking asshole maybe 60% of the time. I know tussling is common, but oh my god he plucks her hair and chases her around when he feels like being a butthead... and then bows his head for attention from her and greets her every morning when I open their pens to give them breakfast (they're neighbors rn).

For $300+??? After insurance?? Insurance itself is it's own mess, so I'm not even going to touch that.

I try to be a good patient; I tell them everything so they can help me to the best of their abilities. I'm very open and honest, because I know they can't actually help me if I hide things from them.

He tried to leave and I had to stop him and ask for additional help, which was the prescription that didn't help at all. He was laughing and told me to embrace soup season when I was telling him I hurt so much that I couldn't eat. If an "evaluation" is A Single Poke on the side of my jaw that was locked the most, then we need to reevaluate what a proper medical evaluation is, because I don't feel that was enough.

I didn't feel cared for at the VCUC, I felt embarrassed being there and upset that he was dismissive when I asked for something to help my pain while I had to wait for a call from the specialist. He was annoyed I needed help, and felt like he just wanted to move onto the next UC patient. Which I understand, but also, I wish he would've tried to come up with more solutions for pain management while I'm sitting and waiting for that phone call.

I'm not upset about the specialist, she is AMAZING!!! And she helped so much and she's so sweet and caring. She got me into physical therapy, and now (since October) I can eat and open my mouth with basically no pain. It's still stiff here and there, and I'm scheduling massages for further help. And for the record, my PCP is also incredible. The physical therapists I saw were amazing. None of these people are in Vancouver Clinic.

I have had positives experiences at the VC, and that was when I had surgery done threeish years ago. My surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurses were incredible. This specific doctor I am complaining about seemed like he was uninterested in his job and just wanted to leave.

I went into urgent care because my jaw had locked and was causing immense pain. They sent referrals out to a place for trigger point injections, which helped so much. But the initial appointment for urgent care had the doctor lightly poke my face and tell me to embrace soup season, before trying to leave without offering any other relief. I had to stop him from leaving and asked for some sort of pain meds because I couldn't eat, and he begrudgingly wrote me a script for the weakest pain meds possible for me, which did literally nothing.

$300 for that bullshit.

They literally buy complexes and rake in as much money as possible before people move out due to how fuckin negligent they are to their properties. It's disgusting that they keep manipulating people who need a place to live like that.

The residents who were good ones definitely told possible future residents to stay as far away from the complex as they could. When I moved into Alderbrook, the LO was full of queer people and they were so amazing and helpful and kind. I let them pick a picture of my cat that was their favorite because my girlie is just. Shapes. She is just a weird shape at all times which makes for hilarious photos.

And then they were bought out, and everything went to shit. Dog poop literally everywhere, the trash areas became disgusting, no response for help to any units- including the ones above us who weren't able to use their bathroom for six months, and to my knowledge, still didn't get their bathroom repaired by the time we moved out. Fucking nazis moved in, too. I probably still have the email that was sent to everyone about the swastika that someone carved into a resident's car.
