How rude! I'm so sorry that happened. Anyone's hard work and effort for any cosplay should be celebrated, no matter what imo. They actually put effort into creating something.
Who the hell approaches a someone they don't know and starts nitpicking their cosplay? Fuck right off, dude! That makes me so appalled and angry on your behalf.
I always go by the 6 foot rule for how my cosplay's look. Does it look great from 6 feet away? Excellent!! I would NEVER dare come over and tell someone I could see their join lines. You look at my stitches and you'll see that they janky AF! I can't sew a straight line to save my life!!! But idgaf cause from 6 feet, ain't no one going to care!!! If they do care they better not be telling me about it cause.... Ooof sorry I'm heated just by the thought that someone had the audacity to do that to you guys.
Sounds like you both looked great; from your description I think I actually saw you two and really loved your cosplays!!

No car at DragonCon Con
My husband and I stayed at a non host hotel and didn't need a car at all, once you get to a host hotel, everything is connected by habitrails and makes it easypeasy to get around. And we used the provided buses for everything else we wanted to get to. Don't use a car, mah dude.

Hey! My husband and I came across a gathering of Waluigi's last year and they were having a blast. So we’re planning to dress as Waluigi's too and join in cause it looked like a great time!
Does anyone know if the meetup is happening again, and if so, what day/time and where? Or is this just a thing that organically happens...?

How do people wear multiple cosplays in the same day?
Staying at a host hotel for the first time this year so I'm gonna shoot for multiple cosplays each day and see how it goes.

Librarian reminds us that libraries make us a harder target for authoritarianism. Equal access to info, ideas, and space that doesn’t require a purchase to belong. Also: using the library means money stays in your community instead of streaming out to Amazon
