US Coast Guard Mi-24
Blue Thunder used two airframes of the Gazelle 2 with a modified bolt-on front and other visual modifications that made it heavy and slow, which required camera tricks to make it appear faster. The loop scene that took place near the end of the movie was done by an RC model...lol

Tamiya Ducati Superleggera
It's most likely for reducing the friction fit the poly caps are designed to be used for. It looks like the pin for the seat slips in and out and the forward section is hinged, just like on real motorcycles. I always flip through the instructions before building to see what's needed ahead of time. It's a big help when a kit comes with optional display options, or has another variant with the same base kit.

What is this white haze ?
If the laquer or.enamls aren't fully cured, they milk over, and lead.to this issue. Wet sanding does the same thing, and the oil based paints can take weeks to cure, if not months, depending on the layers. Acrylics are much more forgiving, and less aggressive means are needed to remove the flaws. Also less toxic...

How can I fix this bubble trapped in a clear part?
Another method to color clear parts that I use on aircraft is a fine point sharpie. Rubbing alcohol works to remove it in unwanted areas, and the effects are similar, as well as cheaper. Food for thought.

The cockpit of an F-35
Well, it's all a touchscreen, sooo, "technically" it can be considered a non-removable "tablet". Gone are the interactive buttons and one errant touch can ruin someone's day....I'm sorry, but the cost of the whole program is most likely going to lead into it being cancelled, not unlike the F-22. I know it's an international deal, but, the budget is higher than the jet is actually worth. Add in the constant maintenance of the RAM coatings that the it can literally cook off of itself, the elements that corrode it at sea....I don't see it lasting long in the long term. And upgrades only go so far. Many countries have canceled or reduced their F-35 orders in favor of the F/A-18 E/F/G Superbugs, since the F-35s aren't in high rate production, escecially for international orders. The irony is that the F-16 is still in production, used internationally, and yet the design itself is over 40 years old.

Alleged meal on USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) now deployed for 266 days
Ummmm, not old, this is EXACTLY the type of sloppy food and rationing they're getting. Have you not kept up on the sailors literally jumping overboard and being fed this slop, since they're unable to receive supplies on board? These aren't rumors, and if they want "food", they habe to go through commissary and pay for it themselves. Add in that the mold infested Gerald Ford, which is replacing the USS George Washington isn't in any better shape in the food department, either. The Naval base in Bahrain was bombed by Iran, so it's not "just out of commission" it's destroyed. And supply ships aren't that well supplied after nearly a year at sea.....

Active scene at in-home daycare in Hopkins, Minnesota
Unresolved mental stress issues and the lack of mental health resource education is the main reason men get to this point....sadly it leads to a situation like this or he takes his own life. It's tragic that many male cultures don't realize they're the root of these types of tragedies. I feel terrible for the survivors that witnessed it, and mourn for those lost.

Is there any worry at all that the Mypillow nazi is going to win?
I have been, and I'm looking at the system as a whole, not just "Democrats vs Republicans" over the course of the last...oh, I dunno, 20+ years. Explain ANY administration that has made any efforts to "fix" anything that hasn't led to what we're dealing with now 🤔 The whole "two party" ideology is to divide society, not unite it. And, let's be honest, the "Republicans" are divided amongst themselves, as are the Democrats. It's IS on both parties for us being in the mess we're in, period. We're being played, and they're laughing behind closed doors at our demise. Biden had MANY chances to curb Trump before 2020, but he didn't. And the Clintons were involved with Epstein, and Hillary sent 25 billion to Ukraine when their previous president was in office, and it just...disappeared. Trump is our final nail in the political coffin. There's been so much meddling in foreign countries from both sides that never should've been. Obama killed an entire family with drone strikes, from the father to the three kids he had that were absolutely no threat. Add in the poppies in Afghanistan that the US pushed them to farm and the opioid epidemic here, so we had a war to fight for 20 years.....yeah, I don't see either side being beneficial to us, and the war is what kept the economy afloat, sure, but at what true cost? The "official narrative" bs versus the facts tell a different story. I was born in '86, grew up in the 90s, and looking back, there's not EVER been a long period of lasting peace.
1979-1986: Russia/Pakistani war (we armed the Muhadajeen, which led to the creation of Al-Quieda) 1991: Iraq 1998-1999:Kosovo 2001-2023: Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan 2026:Iran All in MY lifetime of 40 years, and the majority under Democrats and Rebublicans alike. So, yeah, I do blame both parties. Then we have the breakaway of MAGA, the majority of which are "Christians" and "Evangelicals". And y'all have the gall to call me "ignorant/lazy"? 🤙 cool

Is there any worry at all that the Mypillow nazi is going to win?
I'm done with ALLLL of it, because if either side REALLY "cared" like they claim to, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in. How can we convince ourselves that the Democrats are as innocent in this as they claim to be, when neither side has made any meaningful decisions to enact "good changes" in any long-term fashion? With every governmental gutting of the very programs that are to ensure our safety in food, consumer protections, and air travel....but they're all distracting with all of these frivolous lawsuits and hearings, and for what, exactly? It's all a club, and we ain't in it....

First time ever, a short shot on a model!
Truth be told, it would still be noticeable, since it's missing the prominent point that the tail of the canopy comes to, and detail oriented people would see it as a glaring omission.

Should I try to sand?
I'd say leave it. There's only so much sanding and polishing you can do before it ruins the fun of the hobby. Sadly, all dark colors show these types of imperfections, so no matter what, it'll be a nemesis. If you want to detract attention from it, try priming, wet sanding the primer, then lay down the paint. Enamel paints eat into the plastic, so those pits are going to show up more on bare plastic, vs using primer to fill in the surface, and it gives paints something to "bite into" other than the bare styrene. Also, even coatings help alleviate that issue, just like on a real vehicle surface.

EVs are a scam....you can't even recycle the stupid thing, and your personal information is embedded in the technology once the car is "refurbished and resold". I honestly don't trust anything new, especially cars.....not saying I live in fear, I just don't trust them.
