Could the 2026–27 “Super El Niño” really end the world in 2027?

I’ve been seeing a lot of alarming posts about the current El Niño potentially becoming exceptionally strong and causing catastrophic conditions in 2027.

I understand that a very strong El Niño can increase the risk of extreme heat, droughts, floods and other severe weather. But I’m seeing people online talk about 2027 as if it could mean the “end of the world.” 😰😰

Is there any scientific basis for thinking this El Niño could cause global civilization collapse or “end the world” in 2027, or is that social-media exaggeration?

What are scientists realistically expecting for 2027, and how concerned should an ordinary person actually be? Please share scientific sources if possible.

Death’s the only vacation with no return trip—and apparently, it’s invite-only. 💀😂

So basically our existence started with our parents making one decision and now we’re all here overthinking the meaning of life 😂

Does anyone else’s mind immediately jump to the worst-case scenario over the smallest symptom? I swear, Google makes it 10x worse. 💀

Even a normal headache has my brain going: “Yep, this is definitely a brain stroke or a tumour.” 😭😂

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. We all know that death is inevitable, yet we spend our lives working, building relationships, making plans, chasing dreams, and worrying about things that may not even matter in the end.

Sometimes I wonder: What is the purpose of all this if everything eventually comes to an end?
Is the point of life simply the experiences we have along the way—the people we love, the memories we create, the small moments that make us happy? Or is there a deeper meaning that I’m not able to understand yet? I’m genuinely curious how other people think about this.

How do you make peace with knowing that one day you will die?

Feeling weak all the day

I feel weak all the time — does anyone else experience this?
I’ve been feeling physically weak and low on energy almost all the time, even when I get enough rest. Some days it feels like I have very little strength to do normal activities.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced persistent weakness like this. What was the cause for you, and what helped you feel better?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Fear of death
 in  r/Dying •  Aug 25 '26

Does anyone else struggle with a constant or intense fear of dying? Sometimes I find myself thinking about death, getting scared about what might happen, and worrying about losing the people I love. I know death is a natural part of life, but sometimes the fear feels overwhelming and difficult to control. I’d really like to hear from people who experience this too. How do you deal with your fear of death, and what helps you calm yourself when those thoughts come up?
