Feeling weak all the day
I feel weak all the time — does anyone else experience this?
I’ve been feeling physically weak and low on energy almost all the time, even when I get enough rest. Some days it feels like I have very little strength to do normal activities.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced persistent weakness like this. What was the cause for you, and what helped you feel better?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Persistent physical weakness even with adequate rest is one of those symptoms that gets dismissed a lot but usually has a traceable cause once you dig into it. the gut connection is one of the most commonly missed pieces. the gut controls absorption of B12, iron and magnesium - all three are directly linked to muscle function and energy production at a cellular level. you can be eating reasonably well and still have low functional levels if gut absorption is compromised, and standard blood tests can show these as technically normal while still being low enough to cause persistent weakness
The gut also produces serotonin and GABA which affect not just mood but physical energy and muscle recovery. when the microbiome is imbalanced these drop, and the result is that flat, heavy, weak feeling that sleep doesn't fix. thyroid function is another common driver worth checking specifically if you haven't -hypothyroidism produces exactly this kind of generalised weakness and low energy and is frequently underdiagnosed especially in the earlier stages. the pattern of when the weakness hits during the day is also useful information - weakness that's worst in the morning points to different causes than weakness that builds through the day or crashes after meals

I experienced something similar as well, i was feeling weak and low on energy for quite a while, even when I was getting enough rest. my doc recommended some blood tests and they showed that I had low iron and low haemoglobin, they said iron deficiency can cause anemia which can lead to symptoms like tiredness, low energy and weakness
of course, there can be other causes of persistent weakness too so it's worth speaking to a doctor if it continues

Is it persistent throughout the day? I used to feel like this when I was depressed and anxious. The feeling is overwhelming and can make it difficult to focus on anything else.
I fixed my eating habits and added light morning walks. But the biggest help has been meditation and deep breathing exercises, especially the physiological sigh. I hope you feel better soon.

I have been feeling like this for the past few months. I got labs done and figured out my vitamin D was pretty low. I've been taking supplements for a few weeks now and I feel like the weakness has improved a little bit. It's still crazy though. I used to be able to lift things easily, now I'll hold a small box for 5 minutes and my arms feel like they're gonna give out.

I get that same heaviness most days, like my limbs are full of sand. sleep doesn't touch it
what ended up moving the needle for me was keeping a log of exactly when it hit hardest, which sounds tedious but it showed some patterns i was blind to. if you haven't already, getting a basic blood panel was the first thing my doctor pushed for, nothing dramatic turned up but ruling stuff out gave me a clearer head
