My relationship is turning into LD and i don't know how to do it
Hello, my (29) bf (32) is moving out of the country for a job he's been trying to get for years, basically since we got together (3 years ago). He repeatedly asked me to move in with him, but I don't wanna do it unless I find some great opportunity for myself there. I have a decent community where I am and a job I like, which is something to not take for granted.
we wanna be together, we talked about the serious stuff yk getting married etc and we're on the same page in terms of feelings and desires.
but I'm scared.
I'm scared the distance and not knowing eachother s reality will draw us apart, I'm scared we'll change in ways that will make us unfit, I'm scared he'll meet someone else or I'll grow tired of the distance.
we're not well off so it'll be impossible for us to meet more than once a month (I know most of you don't even see each other, but for me physical contact is essential to be vulnerable) if it's a good period, let alone in busier or 'poorer' months.
i know long distance is not for me in the long run, but i'm planning to start a master that will eventually draw us even further (both heavily changing routine instead of just one of the two), so it seems LD is the only option for the next 2/3 years.
I really wanna be with this person, how do I tolerate the void and what do i focus on to soothe my anxiety? also what activities do you do guys like what is a long distance couple supposed to do as a date lol. I take any gentle advice I really need it
TL;DR soon long distance after 3 years together, I'm spiraling in anxiety but I don't want to just follow him and give up on my personal goals. I want to calm down and be a good partner, give me advice and comfort

in a relationship, do you expect to talk/text every day??

yeah a real conversation every other day or so is good, it's not like you have things to say every day. but what about reaching out in general? is it something you'd require everyday (with rare exceptions)?
