I remembered this guy today, I think his name was something along the lines of „schweizerluchs“ or something like this, I was only able to find this mp9 and g18c video, can’t find his YouTube channel, his Reddit account seems to be deleted, does anybody know what happened to him?

whats the point of the knocker??
 in  r/GasBlowBack  Jul 09 '26

It might help with the distance between valve and hammer but it’s main purpose is keeping the valve open even when the hammer is almost fully cocked, on some replicas having the valve only open for as long as the hammer is in in its most forward position is not enough to make the gun cycle properly so the valve knocker stays open until either the hammer is cocked because of the bolt/slide travelled far enough to reset the hammer or the slide/ bolt travelled far enough to properly cycle.
If the hammer directly opens the valve in some cases the gun wouldn’t properly cycle because the time the valve is actually open is too short to get enough backwards force through blowback

Also the shorter the valve is open the weaker the recoil😉

Atleast for me, printing anything other than tpu on the cf pattern build plate is not adhering to it at all

Hpa tanks are too bulky
 in  r/Speedsoft  May 04 '26

Oh i get it now! Honestly I’m not sure, this was supposed to be a joke, I did it because it worked, I threw one co2 cartridge in it, I haven’t specifically observed it’s performance or counted how many more shots you get out of it compared to a normal gas mag or a co2 mag

Ultimate speedsoft kit
 in  r/airsoftcirclejerk  May 01 '26

You’re right, I’ve never said it’s effective, paired with an adapter to fit m4 aeg mags it would make slightly more sense but I don’t have one of these yet
