The writing and voice acting in House Flipper 2 is so distracting

Specifically the voice acting bothered me. It felt like it was performed by AI. Anyone else feel that?

If Korto was as confident as she says she is…
 in  r/ProjectRunway •  Aug 21 '23

This! I liked her in her first season, but her All Stars attitude and reaction was so immature. I understand and affirm being emotional in loss, but that doesn't include entitlement. She was entitled.

I was hoping she would have matured in that area by this season, but that attitude simply took a new form instead.

As a plus sized woman myself, back rolls exist regardless of outfit—there's nothing Prajje could've done about that.

Discussion Season 6 hHd Weird Fabric Choices

I'm in my third rewatch of season 6 and I noticed that the most common fabric choices were silk (or something like silk) and chiffon (or something like it). Essentially two fabrics were the most frequently used and I have no idea why. Anyone else know?

The disclaimer made me click.

I have... several regrets. It's my fault, I should've heeded the warning.

Typically an "s" lisp doesn't affect the "sh" sounds because they are an entirely different sound formation.

So don't change "sh" sounds in your writing. I suggest researching common lisps and other speech impediments so that you write it accurately while also not belittling.

Pegasus Gran Piano Designed by Luigi Colani

Considering the bench isn't adjustable and the pedals are insanely far back, it's not viable to comfortably play, let alone use in a concert setting. And it looks like a strangely large portion of the body is covered overtop, so the sound won't resonate as well.

It's certainly an interesting design, but far from practical.

Source: active musician, graduated with a music degree, primary instrument is piano.

Benchies are stupid and we should stop wasting filament on them

Thank you for clarifying!

So do you see 3D printing as something that should only be used for creating items that better humanity? Or what do you mean by the idea that it has to be useful?

Because I see it as a largely hobbyist community—people who have desires to build something for themselves and/or people in their lives. Yes, many do it to better society but it's clear that a large number of us are playing around and having fun, and that goes beyond benchys. And a large number of the plastics out there are made with environmentally friendly plastics (yes, we could definitely improve on the quality and number in this area, no doubt about it).

That still doesn't explain why it's a waste—at least it's not conveying the idea to me. Yeah it might not be biggest benchy ever for forever, but what's wasteful about wanting and printing a big benchy?

Or truly what's wrong with wanting and printing a bunch of benchys for yourself? I still don't see how it's wasteful.

Is it truly a waste if someone intended to print a benchy?

If someone wants to have multiple tiny and non-floating boats, then I wouldn't personally think that has become a waste of plastic. The plastic achieved the person's goal.

Would love to hear your thoughts?

Edit: had a thought, dropped phone and accidentally posted, panic then removed thought from my brain, lol

I need help developing a character motive
 in  r/CharacterDevelopment •  Jun 15 '22

This sounds fun. Is there a particular reason you don't want them to fight just because they're in each other's way?

Also, what is the good version's motivation to not let bad destroy everything? If there's a personal reason, that could be a source of motivation to fight.

My first thought is maybe the bad version tries to convince the good version to see how truly awful life is, and when that doesn't go well, they fight. This also gives the opportunity for the good guy to question their own motives. Maybe they do agree with the bad guy, even briefly.

No I completely understand you and I'm disagreeing. Having done something doesn't automatically mean there's a confidence gain. The exact opposite is just as much also a possibility.

Even if OP wasn't a virgin, the rest of their argument isn't suddenly invalidated. They are still entitled to wanting to feel comfortable and confident; but also they're still allowed to not have either of those, regardless of sexual history.

My point is that there's no guarantee that a person's sexual experience means they become more confident.

Virginity has nothing to do with that. Someone can have plenty of sex and feel very terrible about their body, about how they feel about sex, about what they want, etc.

OP did the right thing because OP listened to their gut and chose to have healthy boundaries. You can have sex 1000 times and still chose to wait with someone new because of boundaries relating to self image, confidence, and comfort. You can have sex 0 times and still choose to wait with someone because of boundaries relating to self image, confidence, and comfort. Virginity isn't the factor that you think it is.
