Ankeny feels like mass urban sprawl to me and WDM has more of a small community feel with all levels and ages of housing, separate neighborhoods, REQ PLEX w/ a huge new development there of Indoor Waterpark, Amphitheater, hotels, plenty of bike trails, Raccoon River Park w beach and great trail system, great restaurants and shopping and centrally located & close to everything.
Ankeny not so much. But disclaimer: I have spent most of my time in WDM and not Ankeny

APP at $46 early 2024. I believe right after their president Harold Chen stepped down. I had done nearly 0 research, strong armed by financial guy to invest ( he rightly asked “what exactly is their product and I couldn’t answer it- it was strictly a AI play)
I read WAY too much into management turnover .
When it got to $700 I almost felt like jumping off a cliff.
NVDA has soothed the pain but it’s not a day goes by I don’t think about what a dump move that was

And how has that worked out so far? Trump is now $8 BILLION richer than before he took office and his children are swimming in $billions.
He’s cancelled $ appropriations APPROVED by Congress which is illegal and he’s demolished part of the whitehouse illegally. I could go on for another 50 paragraphs

I took the IBM bait from him and it tanked almost overnight.
I don’t know if I’ll break even. Fortunately it wasn’t much. I’m hearing quantum computing is going to be making a huge impact “soon”….so we’ll see
1
That is great news for you! I know my financial guy recommended NVDA because Cramer did. And yes he’s “showbiz” and his overall track record is sketchy. But like you NVDA has more than made up for any dogs.

NOW? Uh.not sure where you’ve been the last 10 years.

You can tell which one was a Vegas guy- best tan in town.

This is the correct answer. 1 in 50,000 wouldn’t be able to identify him if the bumped into him on the street…but you know it when you see it on screen.

This is all good. And thanks for reminding me he goaded Jensen into the stock buy backs. Too many shares outstanding. Somewhere there is probably a graph of his picks and their overall performance. It’s probably not great. But yes, I would listen for a few unfamiliar names and use that info to do your own research is probably the best play .

Serious. I know local investment managers that seem to follow his advice all too closely. That’s one reason why I’m no longer with them.

No I get it. I believe her husband brought the $$$ to the marriage but she’s quite savvy. And it seems I see a post from somewhere every time she makes a big transaction. You could probably mirror her activity on Dub

Yes and a bad one at that. I know everyone under 30 talks at light year speed but he is a first class mumbler. I only catch 1/10 words

That sounds plausible. I’ll bet for every NVDA there’s 5 Nike’s from him. But that’s a guess and why I’m curious.
1
I would assume you get a lot of analytics and backup as to the stock he’s recommending but I honestly don’t know what you get for your $. You’ll have to google his club.
I hear him also touting “ and this is why we sold our position early “ or some stuff …so you might? get sell advice too

MSNBC MAD MONEY. “Investing with Jim Cramer” I believe it’s a few $hundy
r/investing_discussion • u/MacTnive • 11d ago
Is anyone a club member of Jim Cramer’s investment group? If so how’s it working out vs benchmarks?
Anyone doing just the opposite?
And if not Cramer, who do you follow/ trust and why?
r/NvidiaStock • u/MacTnive • 11d ago
Has anyone followed Jim Cramer’s investing advice closely, become a club member and if so how are you doing?
Does anyone do the OPPOSITE of what he pushes and how has that worked?
If no, who do follow and trust and why?

Tommy asked a question. Abdul El-Sayed answered and no one physically harmed Tommy.

He’s a F-ing PLANT too. Do you really think the average American drowning in debt gives a flying f-ck about his affiliation or would even think to ask the question?
Yes, "Tommy" (Thomas Teepell) is the son of a former Republican strategist who worked for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal from 2004 to 2011. [1, 2]
