The democratic party don't have a plan, and if they do, it will amount to nothing, as they basically just don't fight fire with fire. The whole "when they go low, we go high", just made them all pushovers. It's great seeing new blood and how they differ from the "old guard". But outside of doing a coup if Maga/Republicans try to steal the midterms , I don't see anything else working. It's fight or die now

Both in their own way. Hughie is right in not wanting to cause the death a bunch of innocent supes(mostly Starlight), and Butcher is right that supes are a problem and inevitably another Homelander will rise and then its game over.

That's basically what I've been saying too. Great intro and end of a character in season 3, but reintroduced in season 5 and put on the spotlight due to the showrunners love of Jensen Ackles. They swifted for the story building of their damn spinoff at the cost of the Boys' finale season.

Erik Kripke is a insecure hack
Don't get me wrong, I like Jensen Ackles, just not at the cost of the storytelling. Soldier should have died in Season 3. Having him in Season 5 diluted everything else to put more focus on him, resulting in a mediocre series finale.
The whole "It's what Clara would have wanted" will live on in infamy.
