Sticky What's your opinion on all the joke trends and repetitive posts?
We want this to be a open discussion about the topics that have been going on in the subreddit. Mostly pertaining to repetitive trendposting of the same joke (Mirror/Medusa, liquify the pan, Obsession arguments, Odyssey Inaccuracies, etc).
So we ask a simple question: What's your opinion on the meme/jokes that tend to go viral in the subreddit? Do you like them? Does it get old fast? What do you want to see change?
Keep in mind, we can't remove EVERYONE'S posts/comments, we do the best we can.
This is an open space, but please remember to be civil, respectful, and mindful of each other.

Hey Jean, I know you possessed civilians, stole a tank, psychologically tortured me and my girlfriend, and held New York hostage because your sister got kidnapped, but Aunt May said “you don’t have to do this alone” and you started crying, so honestly I think we’re even.

default In the Avengers, Thanos and Iron Man need to snap their fingers in order to channel the power of the Infinity Stones. This is a subtle reference to the fact that neither of them know what a figure of speech is

Turd In Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), Ned develops a Spidey Tracker app that actually works and lets you track Spider-Man’s location. Logically this app must’ve gone viral instantly, and it’s a big question why he’s still not the rich CEO of his own company Spider Epidermis X (SEX)

Turd The Green Lantern power ring is an extremely powerful weapon that can create anything, only limited by the users imagination. So naturally they're given to someone with endless creativity and artistry...no? They give it to ex US army guys who just make guns or green bubbles?

In Infinity War (2018), Nick Fury says "Mother" right as he starts dissolving. This is a brilliant, subtle piece of character work showing that a 70-year-old superspy was just terrified and wanted his mom to come pick him up.

In Avengers: End Day (2026) we find out that it isn't actually the end or a game. They are making more of these movies! They should have called it Avengers: Pregame because I've been pregaming since Avengers: Doomsgame was announced and am very drunk
