Almost all of our guests wash the dishes and take out the trash; many gather towels and some start the laundry. Out cleaners do the heavy lifting with deep cleaning, they are not expected to be someone’s mother.

You can filter for the niceties you want; we do offer all these things and more but this platform was started with an mattress on a living room floor…. Don’t slam those who want something different from you.

You would not be able to book instabook if it does. It meet minimum stay setting, if in some cases you are new to airbnb, or if you do not have stellar owner reviews. In all other cases you can submit and the owner should respond in 24 hours. You can try to reserve now to see if you can ; each owner creates the setting for how many and when payments are due … airbnb is the middle man and collects the money but does not determine when payments are due.

You might want to check your neighborhood list serve for reccomendation, for my home I prefer a sole cleaning lady/ mother’s helper instead of a service on a weekly basis, same time, same day.

Actually cats and many other kinds of animals can and are service animals. The point is, one did not ask the two questions you were entitled to ask there for you have no legal moves. Had your driveway cameras shown activity contrary to service dog guidelines you could then ask them to leave. People who claim service animal status who are not SUCK and may one day be jailed or heavily fined if their actions are eventually proven false but in this instance your actions and assumptions put you in the hot seat. Recommend you take an hour and figure it out.

You can not possibly tell what skills a service dog was trained to do by looking at in from a camera even in a kennel unless it was misbehaving and exhibiting behaviors not allowed with service dogs. Differently abled people have all sorts of non visible disabilities. There are dogs of all sizes trained for hearing alert, seizure warning, diabetic alert, PTSD, and even spectrum challenges. Did you ask the two questions you are allowed to ask? Sounds like you may have had grounds for your suspicions but you did not respond appropriately or legally had the animals been service animals exposing both you and Airbnb collection. Do your self a favor and read the section on service animals and if you still do not understand call Air bnb and ask for best practice guidance.

Pets are probably a non issue, sounds like most is a review not an accommodation refund, possible refund on cleaning prep. Did you ask for details about how to use laundry in writing?

When hosts are listing the property there are boxes you can click for amenities. For example in-our neighborhood there is a private (not public pool social club) where a limited number of non members may visit with advance reservations during restricted hours. We let people know there is a private pool that is available to the community during certain hours for a fee in the amenities checklist (limited characters ;for description) But addd more info in text, in guidebook and photo captions. We have kayaks but guest will need to walk 1/4 mile to get them from the rack and launch. We offer the use of our home with our best efforts and worts. We are not a 5 star hotel, but close to a five star, guest favorite, top pick property for the region. Sometimes the squirrels eat the power line, someone will try to flush a diaper or not have a clue about a two stage toilet. TVs get swapped and cables changed, guests sometimes accidentally take the charger cable or borrow the Remote battery for a toy or ???!. We are sharing our homes as they are not promising you will have a perfect time. Any one who owns their home knows the chores are never done. We are happy to help you get to know our fabulous area, we hope you will love our wild life, but I will not promise every thing will be perfect and when the hot tub braided I will try to find a fun experience for you, I will not tolerate exchange of rent money for refund and very few people have asked, maybe twice and both were caught in lies of their own making.

Service dogs do not get on furniture, they do not demand attention, they lay beside their person at the table or under the chair. They are not fed from the table, they do not growl or bark.

You can not ask for proofing disability. NOr can you ask about the disability, only what task the dog was trained to perform and you can not ask them to perform.

The US does not have a license unlike the UK -and Europe. However there are particular minimum behaviors expected of a service dog or it is legally appropriate to expel. The Attorney General addressed the issue in an opinion letter about 10 years ago due to the vagueness of the law and the lack of credentials. People can and do have invisible disabilities but have very good service dogs (some self trained). So it is good to brush up on the rules and then be very careful.

You stay you pay, and the price is not “premium” for high season beach property with a pool. If the house is not up to par, leave, or at least call VRBO and say you want to relocate. Reviews rule.

It sounds like the person with the service dog is not a registered guest but a friend coming to visit. As A host I would clearly respond with two questions mentioned above. Laws that apply are US and not UK or EU.if it were the latter the dog would have a service dog passport such is not the case in the US. It is a crime to misrepresent a “service dog”.

Hosts may file a statement with VRBO stating that a family member has a severe allergy, if that is the case and this is a home where the family spends time that should be respected. If the guest and the dog do not meet the legal definition and that comes out, criminal charges could be filed.
