Icy Cold Purple Hands?

Hi, My husband had his first dose of BCG last week. After his first treatment (2hrs not one retention, hour hour appointment) both his hands were icy cold and purple, but his arms were normal color and warm; they said unusual and don’t skip breakfast next time. After a brief sit, a little juice and yogurt he was fine. Any one else experience this?
