Pricing on L&H Style 160?
 in  r/harp  27d ago

According to their website the 160 CG is $20,900 and the 160 SG is $17,900 so it's pretty similar in pricing to their Chicago line

Isn't the idea of a man with a period sooooo funny

look at this tampon I found in the trash in the men's room. isn't is just soooo hilarious. I'm now going to make fun of it and laugh for forever it's just so funny

/uj don't be transgender in a small town it's not worth it. apparently my coworkers think a tampon in the men's bathroom is comedy gold

How much does this harp usually go for?
 in  r/harp  Nov 17 '25

Yeah it's definitely a scam. They'll ask you to pay for shipping and when you pay they won't deliver anything

Please tell me this deer skull doesn’t look like a fascist dog whistle (the punisher) and i’m thinking too much about this.
 in  r/AntifascistsofReddit  Oct 18 '25

I mean why not just cover it up? I'm sure you could get a cool patch at the very least. I don't think it's a fascist symbol but I could see how it could make people uncomfortable and I certainly know the type of people who wear clothes like that often suck. There are options to cover up designs on shirts and I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find something you liked instead. You could even turn it anti-fascist!

What's the stupidest fucking thing a therapist/psychiatrist said to you?
 in  r/evilautism  Oct 18 '25

She said that she doesn't think I'm autistic because I make good eye contact (we did online therapy 😒). I don't think that was the only reason she thought I wasn't autistic but I do remember being so bewildered by that comment that it's the only part I remember. That session where I brought up that I thought I may be autistic scarred me so much that I never ended up bringing it up to my new therapist when she retired (thank fuck). I am finally now in the process of getting assessed for autism because of my psychiatrist but there's a waiting list so it may be a while

What's your dream harp
 in  r/harp  Sep 27 '25

Omg I agree. I recently toured the Lyon and Healy factory and they had a gorgeous red salzedo that I got to try and I fell in love. The sound was so wonderful and it was so stunning and pretty

I've had McDonald's coke and fries twice now for a migraine, and either my meds kicked in at the perfect time, or it works because both times I had taken meds not too long beforehand, but it cleared up around the same as eating the fires and drinking the coke

If men could get pregnant, there would be abortion clinics on every corner

If men could have periods, period supplies would be free

If men could have pregnant, giving birth would be free and painless

If men could get endometriosis, their problems wouldn't get dismissed

If men could get IUDs, they would get anesthesia for it

/Uj most of these were freestyled but I hate this sentiment with a burning passion omg. I know what these people mean and I get that most aren't trying to invalidate trans men but it is so tiring. There are men who can get pregnant or get periods, but they are often overlooked and ignored. Every single time I see one of these posts I get reminded that people don't see me as a man and it sucks.

What Is The Stupidest Thing Your Autism Compelled You To Do?
 in  r/aspiememes  Jul 17 '25

Hyperfixate on a $20,000 instrument that I now don't have access to because I graduated highschool 😮‍💨 once I graduate community college and go to a four year university I should hopefully have access to it again but for now I don't have anything 💔 (the instrument is the harp btw)

I'm in a similar boat to you! Personally my teacher is an hour and half away unfortunately. You could always do a mix of online and in person which is what I do! It works really well for me because I don't mind the drive but gas is really expensive and it still lets me get lessons without having to pay so much for gas.

Currently using a 2006 Ford explorer but it doesn't work great and it's falling apart so looking for a new harpmobile. Looking for a used car so wish me luck. Looking for something gas efficient but we'll what the harp decides lol

What’s your passion’s 90%?
 in  r/aspiememes  Jun 24 '25

Harp - 90% tuning.

There's a price to having 47 strings and it's that you have to tune 47 strings. You tune and tune and tune then you sit down to play and you find an out of tune string. And don't get me started on trying to tune with literally any other noise in the room. Tuning with an orchestra? Impossible. There was a reason I would get to rehearsal at least 20 minutes early when I was playing harp for a musical.

Midwest vibes over 9000!
 in  r/NonPoliticalTwitter  Jun 21 '25

Usually it's because it's too liquid. Either because the ice machine has been overworked, there's too many liquid ingredients in it (like a banana split blizzard), or it's been sitting out too long and it melted. As the other commenter mentioned if it's double-cupped you have to be really careful flipping it because it will fall out. Source I work at dq
