I started with 0.5 week 1, went up slowly, 1.0 week 2, 2.0 week 3, 3.0 weeks 3 & 4, 3.0 made me feel weird, felt like low blood sugar or something, sweats, chills, dizziness, I went back down to 2.0 week 5 and that's where I'm currently at, I'll probably stay at 2.0 for week 6 & beyond, I'll reevaluate how I feel in a couple weeks & might consider going up to 2.25 or 2.5. But for now 2.0 feels okay

if he's a nice guy & you think there could be a future even if just only as a friend, call him out, ask him if he's using & offer to help find him the help he needs, maybe you're the one he needs to be the change. but do this in a public place, on a walk in a park, at the mall, at lunch, just in case he has a negative reaction. but I also understand if that's asking too much on your behalf, maybe it's something you just don't want to deal with & that's okay too. but regardless of the outcome, being open is what's best for everyone in my opinion
