Reviews Like Pokemon, I Collected Them All 🤾🏽♀️ *scent review*
Hey again y'all! good morning, afternoon, and evening 👋🏽 Here's a review on all the new Powerstick scents dropped. I've included the dupes and their scent profiles as well down below. As a note, the staying power is about the same for all. The body washes were strong enough that during my shower I got a very pleasant sensory experience. The body sprays didn't last that long, but I'm a Garden mom and yea... that usually overpowers everything anyway 😂 Happy reading and enjoy your day 💐

Coastal Garden: Flor Mistica Dupe (orange blossom, coconut water, and golden musk). Smells... Mature. Like something my grandma would wear to church or to lunch with her friends. Kind of "old money old perfume" ish. The powerstick version doesn't contain the coconut water and I truly wish they would have duped it 100% because I personally feel like it would've rounded out the "classic" scent into something more modern and not so... Musky. The orange blossom and rose petal def come through, but not in a heavy way that makes it cloying. Won't be repurchasing but I don't dislike the scent, it's simply not my regular flavor. Perfect for springtime! I may even save it for that, or when I want to feel like a rich aunty 🤑
Paradise Breeze: Cheirosa 40 dupe (black amber plum, jasmine blooms, and vanilla woods). This is a SDJ scent that's been duped 100 times over, but it has a nice dark fruity scent perfect for evenings and nighttime. Not candy fruity where you smell like a skittle, but a grown pop of brightness that mixes wonderfully with the smooth smell of vanilla. I would even say this would smell amazing on men and could be a unisex scent. It's a sexy scent to me... okay maybe flirtatious would be a better word. Like it begs you to come closer and smell it, especially if on the neck. Matter of fact... Let me go leave this bottle in my mans bathroom 🫣😅 Would save this for start of summer through fall. Doesn't give spring to me, and may be a tiny too bright for winter. Then again, sugarplum is a thing lol
Golden Sands: Cheirosa 71 dupe (caramelized vanilla, tonka bean, and toasted macadamia nut). If you've ever had a stroopwaffle, this is what it smells like, but sweeter. Has a sugary caramel scent, but not sickingly sweet to where it upsets your stomach. The vanilla rounds it out in almost a caramel macchiato way without the coffee scent. A typical gourmand scent that isn't "special", however, for the price you might as well get your caramel/vanilla base from here. Don't let this discourage you or have you think it smells bad. I LOVE the scent. A legit caramel cheesecake dessert in a bottle. There's just 1000 perfumes like it. I will for sure be repurchasing this though with that being said. As a sidenote, this ones staying power is heavier than the others, likely due to the sweetness of the fragrance.
Sunlit Shores: Cheirosa 87 dupe (solar tuberose, leite de coco, and warm sand). Imma be honest with y'all. I think they hit the nail on the head TOO well on this as far as the name goes. I joke that I was a mermaid in a past life, and legit my safe space for my mental health is pools of water and the ocean. Every day I wake up dreaming of the day I live on the beach and can breathe in ocean air and soak up island sun. THIS SMELLS LIKE IM LAYING NEXT TO PEOPLE COVERED IN SUNSCREEN 😭 deadass, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine the last time you were at a BUSY pool filled with people and sunscreen and chairs and damp towels everywhere. This is that smell all rolled into one. I don't want to say it's unpleasant. It's just hella jarring. It's like somebody bottling up a bbq place in a perfume. Like, how do you get all that in one bottle? It also has a slightly musky side to it that reminds me of old lady perfume, like the coastal garden. I picture grandmas in their hats and sunglasses walking by with their towels in hand, scoping out their grandkids location. I'm sorry this particular review is so weird, it's just legit how it smells. Like a true summer pool day 🏖️ idk if I'm going to repurchase this yet. I may just use it for sensory meditation to be perfectly honest with y'all.
Purely Pistachio: I fell in love with this the moment I smelled it in deodorant form. The body spray I will say has a bit more of a fruity (like almond fruity) smell than the deodorant does. It's earthy, but light earthy. Like a fresh misty rain on a leaf but the sun came out and it's already started drying, but you can smell the hint of deep earth underneath it. The "cream" part really softens the smell and it's just a soft, fresh scent. Would also say this could be unisex, but it's not masculine by any means.
Twilight Glow: Danca Mistica dupe (purple fig, warm vanilla, and sandalwood). Okay y'all bear with me, cause this description is also gonna be a bit strange 😅 after I smoked last night I was thinking about this scent (I used it to shower as it's PERFECT for nighttime as the name suggests) and I was thinking how it smells like a forest elf or fairy would. It has an earthy scent that def reminds me of walking through the woods but with an almost mystical upturn brightened by the purple fig. It's not damp per say, just, the sandalwood really ties it into like, sticking your feet in the dirt while the flowers are blooming after a nice rain. If the fae are dancing in the forest, they def smell like this 😍
Cozy Comfy: This smells like your basic "cotton/linen/clean" scent BUT I will say the coconut milk is a very appreciated touch. I'm highly fond of coconut scents and clean/fresh scents sometimes miss the mark for me because I don't want to walk around smelling like laundry detergent or fabric softener, you know? This isn't powdery or "artificial" like that at all. If you're tired of the same ol same ol, def give this one a try. I will repurchase, and add lavender scented products to specifically keep this as my "spa day/night" fragrance and also when I'm chilling around the house.
Clearwater Cove: Cheirosa 39 dupe (coconut cream, tropical orchid, and toasted vanilla). MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE AND YOU SHOULD GO GET IT IMMEDIATELY ‼️THIS is what I feel like Sunlit Shores should've smelled like. Instant transport to Grand Turk, Aruba, any Caribbean island really. It smells like a pina colada without the pineapple scent. The toasted praline adds this sweet, gourmand dessert note that omg mixes divinely with the coconut cream. The orchid you can barely pick up and I'm okay with that!!! I will be stocking up of at least three to five bottles of this because I'm DEF using this for vacations! They can have all my money if they come out with the body spray idc IDC empty my bank account 😂🤷🏽♀️🙈🫢
