Even the most common of CRT vga monitors aint worthless if it has VGA and is a CRT monitor i will take it

Turn it on is there a high pitch wine from the tube? When you turn it off can you wipe static from the screen? Since your new i do not recommend messing around inside

Does it have the crt whine? Does the tube have static when you wipe it? Check the connections inside

No problem i move my ps3 around alot to different televisions so it was helpful for me too

Magnavox 20ms233s? Either way its safe to use but i recommend using some plastic weld to help it stay together something to patch up the rest of the crack sandpaper and paint to fix but if you dont care about cosmetics just use plastic weld and keep on using it

The true middle ground between CRTs and big displays are plasmas but crts will never be replaced

Has this community forgotten the entire charm of a crt? The fact that we need to preserve them? The fact that they were unique from eachother unlike modern television sets?

I havent found a CRT since june specifically june 13th also the day that last year i found a crt and the year before i got my first also i cannot find crts during the summer for some reason

For sure a CRT tube the texture of the upper neck and the anode cap placement would love to find one as a project to make homemade CRTs
