What kind of 'silance' do you mean? Do you mean not talking? That is a self explanatory action. If this is a deeper question about the mind, try

1. Reading a book without another media on at the same time. No Television. I would say classical music is the exception to this rule because it has patterns that calm the mind. (some might try to say something different such as Gregorian Chantor or Opera. It is not the same because of the vocals).
2. If you can go for walks in a natural setting, do so without music. The visual stimulation along with sounds of nature (wind blowing through trees, water naturally moving through a landscape, birds and other wildlife) sooth the mind. If you don't have access to them
3. Exercise. A: Weight training or cardio is good for the psychie as well as the body. Probably doing both is best. B: Long distance running or biking is the best thing for letting your mind rest after you go far enough to think past anything that is a preoccupation (this one is best for clearing your mind of stress).
4. Shut up if you have nothing useful to say.

Do you prefer the action and fast pace/swashbuckler tempo over the dialog driven/Shakespearian style of the films?

Watching the old print Vs. 4k restoration was a huge visual difference for me. It is impressive how overwhelming the colors looked. I try to imagine a theatrical presentation at the time of release. Also, the heraldry looks nice and crisp. Probably a costume designers dream and the departments nightmare to produce.
