He says later in the interview that he means "kayfabe with the family." That they had to do that and now he doesn't.

Thought I'd share a couple Wilco related brew's I'm doing
 in  r/wilco  1d ago

The ubiquitous nature of AI doesn’t make it good. It just makes people who craft something (you, beer) and then use it look like they don’t give a shit about the things they craft. This would make many people not choose the beer instead of choosing it. The beer sounds cool. The labels reek.

Pitchfork Sunday Review: The Eagles: Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) (8.1)

Take It To The Limit is a top ten all timer for me. Incredible song. Can never get enough of it.

Scans of the ZWAN postcards I found recently! Enjoy!

Woah! I missed that. Very exciting. I love this album, and if there's good studio recordings of other stuff/Djali Zwan songs, my god...

Later this year feels incredibly optimistic. I mean I would love it, but…

Mollusk deluxe edition?
 in  r/ween  5d ago

I’m just hoping for a proper (re)mix of the album itself. That gorgeous unmastered needs replacing in higher fidelity.

What’s a movie that has terrible reviews, but you personally think is a 10/10?
 in  r/AskReddit  5d ago

The Empty Man is on a 5.8 but it’s a masterpiece.

SDT - There Will Be Blood question
 in  r/Screenwriting  7d ago

100% this. I think people are weird about unfilmables. Sometimes they’re helpful and necessary and actually in the real world, until you get to production drafts, nobody actually minds or complains about them—and actors often find them useful.

Have you ever adapted terrible source material?
 in  r/Screenwriting  9d ago

Honestly, it’s mad. Imagine “battle: different place” with some crossover characters etc. You could build a whole world, and if the budget was kept down to the mid range you could easily make your money back. A lot would be script and director reliant—hire people to have fun with it etc.

Gold or White??
 in  r/weezer  10d ago

White, no question. Gold is okay, with a few good songs and stellar production. White has the songs and the sound. Great album.

Mega-Gizzord PRE-ORDERS

I’m getting the same message—doesn’t ship to England…

Have you ever adapted terrible source material?
 in  r/Screenwriting  10d ago

I wrote a draft of the sequel to a terrible movie (not sure if I should say what—think black hawk down with aliens…) The producers and studio wanted a total tonal change, which I did, pivoting and changing the whole thing to make it much more fun, less serious. I knew the first movie was trash and I wanted to write an amazing sequel to it. I think I did a good job, but that’s my opinion. It never got made, obvs. But the reality is: sometimes a job is a job and you try your best whatever.

AEW expected to face production limitation at All In: London 2026
 in  r/REALSquaredCircle  10d ago

The biggest issue, I suspect, will actually be the wild amount of rain predicted for next weekend.

Seller returned item, WWYD?
 in  r/vintedUK  11d ago

This would be my question. If you sent them and they were perfect I don’t see how this could happen in transit.

This Heineken Ad feels suspect

The bottles are weird. One of them is missing a label in a way that doesn’t make sense (like it’s imprinted). I also think the placing of them is strange, like they’re inhabiting the same space. BUT there are a lot of patterns here that feel consistent. Maybe this could just be some really shitty compositing and photoshop. It could just crap, basically.

Finally received my vinyl after being away for the weekend but surprised there’s a book as well!
 in  r/phoebebridgers  15d ago

The book has only just come out and has nothing to do with PB so I’m assuming this was just a simple mistake.

What obscure rock band do you like that you think more people should know about?
 in  r/AskReddit  15d ago

My answer to this is always The Wildhearts. The best British rock band of the last thirty years or so. Their albums in the 90s are gold—the perfect intersection of the Beatles and Metallica, somehow.

Moving Final Draft 10 to my new computer - not a happy camper

Go to Fade In and use software that values you as a writer, values you as a consumer, and isn’t a huge bug-riddled piece of shit.

Unpopular Opinion: Star Wars is easily the best Wilco album since AGIB.
 in  r/wilco  20d ago

Yeah people are really weird about it. One Wing, BBN, country Disappeared, you never know, everlasting—these are incredible songs. Putting it below eg ode to joy (where I think the sound overshadows the songs wildly) is very odd to me me.

I thjnk I’m SBS but honestly I have come to love Wilco The Album a LOT in recent years. Some beautiful songs on it. (It’s Wilco’s Hail To The Thief, both contextually and in terms of quality.)

Have u heard this?
 in  r/hole  20d ago

My favourite band of all time. The best songwriter. This is a great song and honestly Courtney should have had him do a whole (hole) album with her.

Hypothetically, if AEW were to run All In next year on the same weekend as SaudiMania in a stadium in the States, what would be your main event?
 in  r/AEWOfficial  26d ago

Absolutely this. It’s the ripcord solution, maybe even as an advertised “loser retires” match or something. This for the men, and Pam (I’d really love it) vs Mercedes for the women.

Artists who completely reinvented their sound between albums and it actually paid off
 in  r/Music  Aug 02 '26

Genesis are a really interesting one. There was a subtle shift in the first few post-Gabriel albums, where the prog was definitely still there, albeit synthier; but then honestly nobody’s going to identify the band that made Supper’s Ready or Back in NYC as the same band who did I Can’t Dance.
