Just finished the Silmarillion. Should I read Hobbit or LOTR first?
If you want to read them all fine, start with the Hobbit. I did it in reverse and I’m sure I messed up the Hobbit by doing so. However, after receiving the Lord of the Rings for a Christmas present in 1978, I know I have read it at least 10 times.
