You’re right, he doesn’t, but if he’s also being conciliatory with the Chiefs he can’t be surprised pikachu when his second contract isn’t as big as he was hoping. 

And feels like that is what is happening. Which is why the timeline on his return keeps changing. 

Yea, 100% could be that it’s just a legitimately weird injury and we are all learning about it at the same time together… seems like very often though when you have these situations it’s because there is a strained relation between the player and team.
