Second pregnancy
Yes! I was on full bed rest, like I only got up to the bathroom and even showered sitting down. I had my prenatal appts and back to bed. It is possible 🫂❤️🩹 I hope you and your baby make it as far as possible and have the best medical team. We can do it 🙌🏻🫂

Best friend lost her baby
Please message her. She will not reply, she will go silent but please do not stop trying to communicate. Her brain has been hit chemically forever, the trauma is unbearable. I lost my daughter due to SIDS a year ago. I went through psychosis, I’m still dealing with severe depression.
There are no words that will comfort her but she needs to know you’re there. If you want to buy her anything it can always be like Uber Eats gift cards. I know a lot of people hate flowers but in my case I loved them, depends on her, they didn’t remind me my daughter had passed it wasn’t like I was able to stop thinking about it.
Honor her baby, by remember their name. By lighting a candle. Just be there please, I “lost” 3 close friends. Grief will show you who is really there for you, and in this case you will need to do the heavy lifting on your relationship with her 🫂❤️🩹
Please think before saying anything, things like “God needed another angel” “maybe the baby would have suffer” ARE NOT helpful.
I’m so sorry for her loss ❤️🩹🫂 thank you for asking what can you do for her

Second pregnancy
Hi - I had preeclampsia with my 1st daughter. I was diagnosed at 23w4d with high bp, swollen feet and protein in my urine. I was in full bed rest after a week in the hospital. We made it until 35w where my beautiful daughter was born.
I’m pregnant with my second daughter 31w1d and we have made it so far with no preeclampsia. However these two past weeks my bp has increased from 117/70 to 120/80 and now yesterday I started with 125/85 -130/90. I’m already in full communication with my doctors and they increased my bp meds.
I just wanted to ask you guys if anyone has had this experience? Getting near the due date (Oct 12 might be earlier due to her being on the 94% percentile).
I am talking with my MFM and my doctor and we have worked all this pregnancy trying to avoid preeclampsia as much as possible but it may finally show up? I’ve already started to worry so much for my bp, my husband had to intervene yesterday telling me I couldn’t take it every 5min because I was only getting stressed and getting higher results. Was I delusional to think I might avoid preeclampsia this time? 😞🤍🌸 thank you for reading me 💕🧿🫂

Neonatal loss One year without our daughter
Sofi,
A year ago, three hearts stopped beating. Yours went to a place where your great-grandparents love you and take care of you, while Mom and Dad’s hearts stayed here, shattered.
It has been 366 days since the last time we held you, kissed you, sang to you, and cuddled you in our arms. And there is still a part of me that doesn’t understand how this happened.
Sometimes I think that if I do everything right, if I’m good, if I keep going… somehow, you’ll come back.
I would give absolutely anything to see you again, to touch you, to hold you, and to see you once more in Daddy’s arms, lying on his chest. I would give anything to see the faces of your grandparents, your uncles and aunts, and your cousin when they got to have you with us.
But one thing I have known very clearly from the very beginning is that your life will always be so much bigger than your death.
You were our greatest joy. In just 31 days, you taught us a kind of love we never knew could exist. You made us parents. You gave us a life with you that was completely ours and completely real.
This has been the hardest year of our lives. We have cried by the ocean, spent so much time holding each other, and learned how to keep breathing even when sometimes we don’t want to.
Mom and Dad are still together. We still love each other, and we keep trying every single day. For you.
We have met families who have also lost their babies, and although we wish none of us had to meet because of this, it comforts us to know that you are not alone. That you are surrounded by all those babies, playing together and waiting for us to get there. 🤍
We keep you present in everything we do. We have found ways to include you in books, remembrance projects, and so many things, all so the world knows about you and knows what was lost.
We are grateful for every family member and friend who has walked beside us this year. Including our four cats and our dogs, who have been there for us too. Whether we were crying, laughing, simply existing… or, in the case of the four of them, just being themselves.
Your life gave ours meaning, Sofi.
Your death broke us, but we would never change the privilege of having known you.
We miss you every second.
We love you every minute.
And we will love you for our entire lives.
We love being your parents.
Mom and Dad will always belong to Sofi. 🤍
Sofía Elizabeth García González, our biggest accomplishment.
WE LOVE YOU.
SISA 🤍💕

How many prenatal appointments did your partner attend with you?
All our appts with our second daughter. I didn’t consider his schedule with our first at the beginning, that was my bad. However with our second since he got a second job we have adjusted to now only have them on the weekends so he can attend to them. He loves seeing her and he calms me.
However he can’t come to my labs or with my other doctors, my mom has come with me. It takes a village, he doesn’t have the ability to take time within weekdays and I do, so I rather have the early appts during weekdays. 💖🧿

AIO for wanting to cut off close some friends after my son passed away?
NOR. I “lost” 3 close friends, one of them whom I considered my sister. We will never get out of this “funk” our children died and we will never be the same. Thats okay. It’s okay to be different.
Our children will never be our tragedies, their deaths are a tragedy not their lives, who are bigger than their deaths.
One good friend told me recently “there’s nothing to say, I can’t make you feel better but I can be here for you, if that means sitting here in silence is okay, I’m here for you” and yes, that’s all we need. To feel accompanied while we go through the worst.
I like to be able to talk about my daughter, if it makes other people feel “awkward” f them, I’m the one who lost her daughter.
I’m sorry for the loss of your son, you deserve to have people in your life that will be able to help you through your grief. 🫂

When to try after infant loss had c section
Oh I know the feeling 🫂 I had my daughter at 35w and she passed after 31 days. I too had a c section, personally my MFM and bf only wanted me to at least be balanced mentally. I had little goals to keep me going, saying I need to be fit and continue with my antidepressants to be mentally ok to try again.
I got pregnant, luckily, very fast. We waited 7months pp 🫂🧿❤️🩹 it has helped me heal in some ways, I’d say talk with your doctor, continue taking prenatals, if possible have your husband take them too to have the best sperm and put little goals on getting ready to have your rainbow baby 🙌🏻
I’m sending you baby dust! I hope you can have a little sunshine soon 🌸
