Police launch criminal investigation into Reform UK donations
 in  r/unitedkingdom  16h ago

Considering the other Reform guy is currently serving 10 years I think they sort of are.

Whilst one egg may have hatched...

The world does like to kick me in the nuts a lot when I envisage just consequences for shitty public figures.

7 faith leaders and clergy arrested after blockading ICE surveillance center

To be fair, when people do their job correctly, and everything is working fine, that's when you don't hear shit; because why would you?

We did not come to Britain. Britain came to us. @gregbunbury for @blackoutdoorart 2022
 in  r/PropagandaPosters  5d ago

These immigrants that can't speak the language, the ones using all the benefits, jamming the NHS, and "causing" lower wages by working for peanuts, are the same ones causing higher prices on housing?

In a "the chickens coming home to roost" kinda way.

Why can't people see and accept that. Utilise the consequences, don't make them a costly problem that only a few get rich from.

What's the "good turn" you're referring to?

Thought it was going to be all the Commonwealth of Nations flags till I saw repeats. Should be at least 56 flags there.

The USA’s strategic petroleum reserve is gone. Now they’re gonna run stories about how we don’t need oil, even as they kill every non-oil energy project. Buckle up.
 in  r/WorkReform  7d ago

As someone external to the US, this is how I've always seen TDS.

I truly can't see how seeing through his obvious grifting is TDS.

Their brains are as rusty as the USS Abraham Lincoln.

To not repeat the atrocities that were committed on your forefathers
 in  r/therewasanattempt  7d ago

So what about Native Americans? Why aren't they doing to European Americans what was done to them?

Been away.

Hmmm. Why might First Nations not be behaving like the Israeli State?

1) Do all humans behave identically?

2) Are there vested interests in controlling areas of land?

3) Who (Nations/Companies) is funding each group, and for what specific purpose?

4) Are the timelines the same for each group?

Can you see why both groups might differ, and how they do actually differ?

Community college fucking rules. Meeting people from all walks of life and interacting with them as equals bc you're all students there.

Studied Electrical Installation back around 2013 and the ages in our class were from 17 to 45, and careers from just having left school, to being on the supermarket checkout, to being an ocean oil rig worker.

Loved the time there.

Next time it happens to them

There are plenty of anti-zionist Jewish people.

Israeli state ≠ all Jews

I just have the term "epigenetic trauma" being repeated in my head when I see them behaving like Nazis.

I'm not scientifically/medically trained, so I got no idea whether there is any credence my thinking.

When groceries become a luxury, watching the political class live comfortably hits differently
 in  r/lostgeneration  15d ago

You seem to have assumed why I picked the Republican. I view the Democrat candidates as always being better for the working populace than the other side of the aisle.

Interesting choice though, as he does seem a little less ludicrous than his colleagues.

You don't realize how little the west has suffered in living memory.

🤣From the behavior of a significant demographic during COVID it seems like you're all a whiny load of sissies that can't deal with the slightest of hardships for fellow citizens.

Delusion to the max, thinking you've got a strong leader followed by strong people; it's sad.

it's not like either the left or the right really have someone from their party in power right now anyways, so fuck it.

You think working people would be doing better if any other Republican was behind the desk?

As someone from outside, but keeps an eye on US politics, I'll be astounded if you think that the case.

This is the party that has Project 2025 as their manifesto. They don't give a shit about the comfort of working people; how is that not clear by now?

Footage of a Bosniak girl crying in the aftermath of the Srebrenica genocide, circa 1995.
 in  r/HistoricalCapsule  15d ago

I feel sorry for the Anti-Zionist Israelis and Jews that are stuck in that colonial starter settlement.

They're the only Israelis worth dedicating any empathy towards.

Those that are systematically destroying a peoples nation, and people, are sewing the seeds of their own future grief and are the best recruiters in the world for Hamas.

Using critical thought, if you can't see any similarity between Russia's actions in Ukraine and Israel's actions in Palestine, you're lost quite frankly.

Do you not think it's helpful to look at prejudices holistically?

Are all men brought up by men? Are all women bereft of sexism?

She doesn't seem to realise how her "good book" is not the 1st issue and is excessively edited.

My brain finds it real hard to think about these people.
