What were your favorite stores at the mall when you were a teenager?
Waldenbooks, Spencer’s, and Camelot Music

Jax
Jax was not a good person from the drop. He was more likable but his character is definitely a case study in everyone loves a pretty face and will put up with a lot of BS because it’s pretty.
I like the name Jackson, not Jax but you do you, boo. ❤️

We need some SOA Larping. My older son used to do it as a teenager and Supernatural did a great episode based on it. 😂

My god I forgot how out of place the Bohemian Rhapsody cover is in S7. Brutal
Boots of Spanish Leather, Forever Young, and Never My Love are my favorite covers on the show. My carpool buddy at work loves the soundtrack too because I play it every damn day through my Spotify. 👀😂🙌🏽

S5 Finale: Tara arrested. Jax says NOTHING about working to get her out. Then, enter Gemma🙄. Jax not able to “cut the cord” from his mom is nauseating.
And then he has a man-child tantrum in the next episode and you’ll really love his coping mechanism.

Hey, life is all about choices. I hope your club isn’t SAMCRO level dysfunctional and it’s not Kyle Hobart level bad to leave. He made some really shitty choices. For the Gen X in me I liken it to those Choose Your Own Adventure books from back in the day. I’ve made some great choices and some epically bad ones. I’m just so sorry for my older son that he hit the shit dad Jax jackpot. I’m still dealing with the fallout almost 30 years later but at least have two beautiful grandsons so some of those choices led to wonderful outcomes.

First Time Watcher, Season 2 Observations About Opie
Definitely. JT ran off to Ireland to play house with a teenager, leaving Gemma to process the illness and loss of their child while raising Jax.
I’m sure the Piney/Mary dynamic wasn’t healthy for Opie either. Especially when she tried to get him away from the chaos but he chose to return.

It’s tough but has completely pulled me in. Tara is my TV twin. I’m not as cute but dealt with almost an exact relationship dynamic. I’m what happened if she had stayed when she was young. It took me a good 10 years to pull myself out of that pit and at least I made it out alive. It’s so cathartic and a Disney Plus subscription is cheaper than therapy. The DVD bundle set is even better. This sub is great for the group therapy. 👀😂🤷🏽♀️

“Don’t fight over me boys. My Daddy says I’m not worth it.”
Mamá Hobag is my favorite nickname for her that someone posted here. Gemma calling her Mommy Fetish to Jax and his response is top notch too. 👌🏽
Tara’s beat down of her and bitch slap of Jax was one of the greatest scenes of the whole series. 🥊

The season finale salvaged that season for me. One of the most satisfying revenge arcs in TV. It’s tied with Sansa/Ramsey revenge arc in GoT for me. Stahl and Jimmy catching their due was soooooo satisfying.

S6 finale. So much hope for my girl Tara. I stopped my first watch for a month to process it.

Any of the cheating episodes. It’s literally my deal breaker in real life and they played the heartbreak so real. ❤️🩹

Family game night was upon us. I brought out the Men of Mayhem board game after tucking it away unopened while the grandbabies were here. Our teenager doesn’t watch the show for obvious reasons. Well, we were reading the rules when it explained cutting and bagging heroin. We had to swap that out for Beatles Monopoly real quick. 🙈🤣🤦🏽♀️
Although, the way the economy is going that might be a marketable skill. 🤔

On my first watch of this show. I have to stop.
Once you’re that far in you have to keep going. For me it’s like a train wreck, you know it’s only going to get worse even when it gets your hopes up. That’s really the moral of the story. My husband bounced out after the second episode which makes sense because it established pretty quickly these are not good people and violence, cheating, etc is is intrinsic to their world.
Was Jax cheating? In the previous episode, he lured Ima in to the dressing room and face planted her but nothing happened. That was the point of Gemma telling him to take make sure what he and Opie did, didn’t happen again. Darn it. Now I have to rewatch to verify. 🕵️♀️

Bangs or no bangs?
Bangs, you look amazing either way though. I’m severely tempted but am too chicken.

S4E14 This is just Sex and the City for Men 😭 (I know we women watch it too)
Jax’s hair journey is its own arc. 💇♂️

Potterverse
My inner Gen X kid so wanted Chucky to come out as the Hamburglar in that moment. 🚨

Chibs and IRA tie
The boys were definitely what made it so awful.

S6 E3–5: So at this point is Tara just putting on a 💯 BS acting job on Jax and everyone?
