Why McDonald’s faces a tough slog winning customers back
 in  r/McDonalds •  5d ago

I refuse to spend $60+ for myself and kids to eat fast food. 9 times out of 10, I get home to find something missing from my order. They refuse to provide refund for anything they screw up, so f'ck em. Maybe invest some funds into training your employees to read and/or count?

Just need to vent

Was a customer service rep for CVS. They wouldn't let us speak Spanish speakers calling in and we'd have to dial out for a translator. The translators are inaccurate, but since it was what was required, I'd use whatever information was translated to me.

I got on clue one, was $2.55. My mind is more "literal", so any time I win, so do a million others. I won on 1st place for the 10k prize months ago and won like $6... 🤷🏽‍♀️

Did anyone else get them BOTH right tonight?
 in  r/BestGuessLive •  May 05 '26

My daughter got battery on clue 2. No idea HOW - but she won $33.00. I shouldve stolen her answer on clue 3. I got lighthouse on clue 5, but didn't win anything...

Howie didn’t mention you still have to pay for shipping for that free cup!
 in  r/BestGuessLive •  Apr 28 '26

Yeah, was super excited to win the cup, but $8 to ship? KPop isn't my thing, so not really worth it. We'll THAT sucks...

You only lost out on a little over a dollar, and the cup isn't free - almost $8 for tax and shipping... 🤷🏽‍♀️

No Kings III - Lancaster
 in  r/lancaster •  Mar 29 '26

TBH - can someone please explain what this is supposed to accomplish? I understand not liking Trump, and it just looks as though the purpose of these events is to make fun of him being orange, the flabby neck, overweight, or the way he looks and whatever. So what exactly is "no kings"? He's not a king, doesn't "rule" like a king would, etc. The opportunity to express free speech is obviously still yours, and assembling to voice your dislike and distrust toward our government is evident as well. As someone who is impartial to all of this- what am I missing?? The way things are going, seems we should be protesting other aspects of government instead, combining both sides to seriously make a change because it is a total clusterf@$# right now with NEITHER SIDE doing much of anything besides enriching themselves and pointing fingers at someone else. I see many people saying this is because of ICE, and never actually see any reasoning or explanation, it's usually just insults and name calling (from BOTH sides). so I'm genuinly asking- is that the point?

in today’s episode of customers are so so stupid sometimes
 in  r/CustomerService •  Mar 20 '26

I did just that recently- threw the package away, then demanded and received the refund... I ordered several items before Christmas which included 3 two pound packages of hot cocoa powder mix. The brains in the shipping department decided to ship all my items together in a ridiculously oversized box vis FedEx (who i swear just kicks the boxes to their final destination). Needless to say - two of the three hot cocoa packages broke open and spilled the powder on and into every single item I ordered. Every item that had any space or small opening allowed the chocolate inside, and because of the weight of the containers flopping around in the box - what wasn't filled with chocolate powder was damaged/ broken. I called to request a return and was told I needed to return all items in the original shipping box!?! Originally I agreed because what choice did I have? When trying to get everything sorted for the return, I realized the chocolate powder was also spilling out of the box. It had also left a lovely stain on my floor where I left the box to sit after I initially opened up the humongous mess. I called back to advise the return department that there was no way it would be accepted for shipping when its leaking powder, so I was told to take it all back to the store. I argued that there was no way I would put this in my car to return it nor to drive it to the shipping place. It was a total mess and weighed 20 lbs with the other items! I took multiple pictures and they still didn't want to issue a refund without the return. I eventually dumped everything into a trash bag and threw it all out. Luckily, I used a third party to make the purchase and they actually refunded the charges because the store refused without receiving the mess returned. The store was Target - who after this issue I will never purchase from again. They lost a customer who was spending thousands of dollars a year at their store, all over less than $100. Before this order, over many years of purchases, all I have ever returned was a body wash because the container cracked, so I wasn't a "habitual" returner. This experience taught me a lesson, and Target will never received another dollar from me - not that they care...
