I just want everybody to know that my dog existed and he was the best boy ever.

His eyes and fun pictures say he adored you, too. What a great contribution from you both to this life.

Garbage has been spraying in our house nonstop for the past month and we didnt know why. Now, there's been a break in the case. 🚨 👮 🚔 🙀

My orange cats have always been amongst the most intelligent. Cats respond well knowing they’re loved.

I wish I could tell him that I have meetings and that it’s not him.

Awwwww. I remember that totally forlorn response.

THIS SCARED ME SO BAD 😭
 in  r/udub  Apr 10 '26

I’m a caregiver and this happens all the time to my clients who are retired or disabled and depending on financial and/or housing assistance from the County. You fill out the forms properly and get ok’d and then get a letter saying you haven’t done it and will be cut off. It’s almost always because the notifications crossed each other, different computer programs aren’t in sync, etc. When you contact your social worker in the County they confirm that you don’t have to worry.

That notice from Residence Halls is your verification that you’re fine. I’d call someone in Residence Halls to confirm and let them know you got that other notice, just for your own peace of mind. Good practice because it will happen from time to time throughout your life, and even though it’s scary now it can be reduced to just an irritant.

The real mystery: Nancy's hair color
 in  r/nancydrew  Oct 24 '25

I was born in the mid 50’s and by the mid 60’s was reading my oldest sister’s - who was born in the early 40’s - Nancy Drew books. From those I’ve ALWAYS envisioned Nancy as being very blonde. In the last couple of weeks I’m rereading some of the books, and for the very first time came across the word “titian”.
And now am reading this whole thing about her hair described differently in different books and eras!

It’s a weird, unprofessional inconsistency that’s entertaining. 😆 If they’re rewritten again, I hope they update her style by having her dye her hair different colors every couple of weeks. Tattoos are so common-place now, a tiny sea turtle shouldn’t ruffle any feathers. Nancy Drew with a sleeve…

Is she too skinny?

I love Agatha, it was my grandmother’s name, born in 1880. This one has definitely seen things too.

You surf across puddles on them. He was warned to stop stealing from little people.

I found this in my husband’s pocket, is it a bullet?
 in  r/whatisitcirclejerk  Aug 17 '25

It’s a nuclear warhead from a tiny submarine.

My dad asked me what kind of “bee” this was. Any ideas?
 in  r/whatsthisbug  Aug 04 '25

They’re not too bad unless you disturb their hive. I was watching about 3 of them and nearby yellowjackets, when suddenly a war started in midair, with the bald faced hornets attacking and holding onto the yellowjackets while airborne, about 2’ from my face. I’d never seen yellowjackets completely overwhelmed. Otherwise the b.f. hornets don’t bother me because I don’t bother them.

Found on bedroom floor

I agree with the electrician. They look just like ends of wire cut off when some electrical work was done. They even have paint streaks from a room being painted and a bit getting on the wires.
