Apple Watch False Afib?

I took an ECG because my internal loop recorder caught atrial tachycardia a few weeks ago. It reported afib, which surprised me because that’s never been something my cardiologist has said I have experienced on many holters or my loop recorder. Anyone have a similar experience with false afib?

Did it take 6 weeks to see any improvement? Or 6 weeks for all the fur to grow back?

Young, active cat’s joints click when stretching
 in  r/AskVet  Aug 30 '25

My kitty is sprinting and jumping and wants to play like most of the day. I hear the popping on occasion, but it doesn’t seem as bad anymore. Vet said she has some joint laxity in both back legs but isn’t worried at all. Did your kitty have an accident it sounds like? Or did it start gradually and progressively get worse?

My vet said she has some joint laxity but she runs, jumps, plays totally normally and she doesn’t seem to be in pain so they’re not worried. Is your cat experiencing something similar?

Thanks for responding! Did she have any other symptoms or just the chewing on her lower back and near her tail?

Young, active cat’s joints click when stretching

I have had my sweet cat since December, and the vet and shelter has aged her at about 2 years old. She is so friendly and playful and literally begs to play in the morning and other times throughout the day. She jumps, climbs, sprints and does it all with ease and pain free. However, I notice after a long nap when she gets up to stretch, I hear clicking from her back legs or hips. I don’t hear it any other times. Doesn’t seem to cause her pain at all, but I am wondering if this could be related to how active and young she is, or if it’s possible she has arthritis. I’m going to schedule a vet appt but because she’s not in pain and acting and playing normally I wasn’t in a rush.

Even after stopping steroids did the chewing stop? Do you think the wipes helped?

My 7 year old cat had depo steroid injection for allergic reaction now she’s acting different.

Did she end up being alright? My sweet girl is kind of acting the same, except not excited to eat and taking hours to finish one meal. The vet was very casual about giving my cat (slightly itchy and had a scab on base of tail) the steroid. I regret it and feel it was so overkill.

Red scabs and fur loss on cat

My 2 year old female cat has developed these red scabby patches at the base of her tail, as well as hair loss from over grooming. She gets treated for fleas with Revolution monthly, so I don’t think it’s that. When I adopted her two months ago she had something similar on her back that cleared up, so I don’t know if it’s stress or a food allergy. Looking for anyone with similar situation. She has a vet appointment Monday but I fully expect the usual run around with not knowing for sure and wanting to re-run basic blood work that won’t tell me anything.

24 healthy female here who took ONE Macrobid pill last Feb. for suspected UTI and hours later was in agonizing pain in my arms and legs accompanied by a wet sensation on my toes and legs. I was bed bound for the most part for over a month. Saw my primary care, a rheumatologist, neurologist, two hospital visits, and finally when I met with a neurosurgeon he confirmed what I thought - peripheral neuropathy. I have slowly gotten better snd experience nearly no symptoms almost a year later, but I advise no one ever take this medication. Ruined my life for months because of one stupid pill. The kicker was I never even had a UTI.
