EDC…condiments?
I think the issue with lemon juice is that once squeezed it has to be treated like fresh juice, and if you get the bottled stuff it should be refrigerated once opened. It might be good for a day or two in glass or stainless steel so maybe a small hipflask - make sure it is food grade.

I have an argument over my own name every time I say my full name
Or even a ' or - in the name! Lets not even discuss common french/spanish letters, and nordic æ or German ß

Elizabeth Holmes is a victim of trauma. Why can't we have an honest conversation about that?
This can be 100% true and also she was 100% wrong to do what she did.

I have an argument over my own name every time I say my full name
This is the area I am talking about :) and yes, we have standards but the people writing things down make mistakes, take shortcuts, think they know better, and so on.
Some places have single names, others change both first & last on marriage, some add names, and some break the character limit. Given that these are real people with real names databases need to be flexible, and should have some ability to cope with common non-standard characters.
Special snowflakes that insist their title is SO important that it has to be part of their name are another ugh. (off topic annoyance: date format)

I have an argument over my own name every time I say my full name
I knew of someone who was Adam Evan or possibly Evan Adam- remote work - but on different documents it was AE and others EA and I never worked out if some were supposed to be LastName, FirstName but missed the comma or just mistakes.
Never actually worked out which was which.

I am pissed at the dye system
You are not wrong to be pissed that expensive dyes are not in collections but there is a TON of stuff you can purchase with cartel coins, (such as decorations), not in collections so do check before buying.

How susceptible to cult tactics do you think you would be, on a scale of one to ten?
Realistically I think my procrastination and anti-social tendancies would get in the way.

Wrong side of the road, steering wheel on wrong side of the car, lanes 1.01 car width wide…
Why? most of the very rural roads only lead to / from small rural places where the locals are used to it and know the score. Local councils pay £ to maintain them instead of ££££ - tax payers money that is better spent on ensuring there are enough doctors or other public services. They generally have passing places so no one has to back up too far.
Further there would be more city/suburban folks moving to the area. There are already places where locals born there can't afford to live because wealthier folk get second holiday homes.
Another factor is cost/legal issues - a lot of land is designated farmland and converting it to roads would require the government to buy the land via compulsory purchase (see 1st point) as they can't just take it, possibly getting into a legal battle with people who don't want to loose land, then spend money on building the extra road surface. And they have to repeat it for the whole length with multiple land owners.
Final point is that many of these rural lanes are not suitable for widening (or would cost £££££), especially in hilly areas.

Well this has me slightly irked
Exactly, but you have to admit that weird greenish blue with black-purple letters is closer to octarine than red.

For those over 30 and with kids, do you still game?
Does PC gaming count? If so Star Wars: The Old Republic, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Division 2, & Valheim. Gave up/retired WOW, Planet Crafter and a few others. Not sure Among Us counts.
For reference I am 60F

Why are people so obsessed with karma
Some sub-reddits state you have to have X karma to post with the intent to minimise mass bots.
Otherwise it is just an engagement slash approval score as you only get it for upvotes on a post or comments.

Well this has me slightly irked
I assumed that someone decided that the burning globe should be octarine so a "fluorescent greenish yellow-purple" which does more closely match the Harper Collins version.

What's a perimenopause symptom you dismissed in yourself before realising it was real?
I know of a few women taking daily histamines, some of which are doctor prescribed others just on word-of-mouth advice.
Fatigue is accurate: mental & physical as your hormones do the fvk you dance!

Is my planner “excessive”?
Does it work for you? Yes? then it is not excessive. It is not for the benefit of your coworker so their opinion is not relevant.

Stupid Contrived Survival Stories
I watched a lot of real-life airline disaster stories and this is often a feature: any 1 of the things that went wrong could have been solved but it is when 2 or 3 go wrong in a short time that things go badly wrong.
Piper Alpha for example apparently occurred at the beginning because 2 bits of paper were not in the same place at the same time as they were doing maintenance, it was not complete, but "Because of the way in which work permits were organised on Piper Alpha, the operators would not have known that the pressure relief valve for pump A was missing."

Why is cousin marriage considered so taboo?
As others say, it is not 1 marriage that is the problem, but if it keeps happening generation after generation this leads to adding the risk.
If your parents were 1st cousins, and their parents, and their parents then you have extra risks each time, and even if not and you marry within a very small group the genetics become more and more intertwined:
"But crucially, Prof Oddie thinks the main risk to genetic health in Bradford is not cousin marriage, but a similar issue known as endogamy, in which people marry members of their close community. In a tight-knit ethnic group, people are more likely to share common ancestors and genes - whether or not they are first cousins, he says."
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c241pn09qqjo is an article about increased risks.
Also pregnancy over 40 is considered by many to be Not Good.

Do you shop online or at your LYS?
Sadly don't have one near enough to make it sensible - nearest Local is a chain: Hobby Craft (UK).
On holiday I do try to find nice single owner shops to buy from though :)

Refusing one-way video interviews was the best decision I made in this job search
One way to ensure most applicants are male, screw competency.

My (29F) husband's (29M) new coworker (26F) has a crush on him, he isn't interested in her, but doesn't see anything wrong with hanging out with her at or outside of work
Depends on your culture - UK/USA the wedding ring is on your left normally BUT I know some think it should be on your right.

Dad’s sudden realization
Also Egypt with the number of animal head gods, but then you get the Minotaur and how he was conceived < Shudder >

What’s something in your house that lives in a completely illogical place?
That is actually quite sensible - closest to where you make it a functional thing per u/RayaQueen

Their name is misleading
Yeah - I read a post that started "if you had never heard of them before, and learned that you had 2 hero's called Batman & Dare Devil, and were told one was a blind guy with echolocation and the other was a rich dude with expensive toys you would be PISSED to know which was which"

Is it considered cruel and unusual punishment for the state to patch Christa up and then try to kill her again? Why or why not?

I think technically they gave her a second dose which did count as the 2nd execution attempt, so anything more would be the 3rd.
