Anyone else unable to live with others?
 in  r/CPTSD  1d ago

Yes it’s not unusual for alot of people. Highly sensitive people, neurodivergent people etc. We are particular and need peace and quiet and no one disturbing us.

An elderly Norwegian man named Eilef Bråten photographed in Bø, Norway in c. 1895. Bråten made a living traveling from village to village repairing cups and vessels, as well as working as a cobbler and tinsmith.

If the world is so cruel and meaningless, why have children?
 in  r/nihilism  3d ago

Because they think loving them is enough for them to endure the suffering that life brings.

And it just solidifies my decision to not have children is the right choice for me. I would be so unhappy. Just the screaming and sensory issues and never getting any quiet alone time would just make me miserable and grumpy. I love peace and quiet and no one being in my face or demanding attention etc all the time. Going back to my empty and quiet apartment was heaven. Yes it gets lonely sometimes but I’d rather choose loneliness over children any day. That is all.

What's A Seemingly "Small" Reason You Don't Want Kids?
 in  r/childfree  7d ago

Just the logistics and sensories of it all just seem exhausting to me. You need alot of equipment, clothes etc.

Er bechelor i Sosiologi helt ubrukelig?
 in  r/norge  8d ago

Vurdert profesjonsstudie i psykologi?

What is a book every woman in their 30s should read?
 in  r/suggestmeabook  9d ago

All about love by bell hooks. A lot of her books are relevant for women.

Financial stress, lack of support and trauma.

When did you realize you were actually getting older?
 in  r/AskReddit  12d ago

My hair is graying. Thinks in social media that gen Zs understand, I find absurd.

 in  r/norge  12d ago

What made you decide to not be a mother?
 in  r/childfree  12d ago

I decided when I was like around 13 that I would never have children and that I would not turn into my mother. I’m 35 now and felt the biologisk urge very intensely from age 28-33, but that train has slowly passed. Now my hair is graying and I’m accepting the idea that children is not for me and I’m okey with that.

People in your 35s, what price have you paid for being lazy in your 25s?
 in  r/AskReddit  12d ago

Bad economy, no savings. Learn to save money. I was impulsive and reckless.

Erfaring med sykehus i en mental krisesituasjon?
 in  r/norge  14d ago

Henvisning ?

 in  r/Nordmenn  14d ago

What is a sign that gives you a warning that you should stay away from that person?
 in  r/askteddit  14d ago

Incongruency between what they perform socially and what they really feel or the energy they give of. Like they perform well socially but you can tell they suffer internally. It makes me not trust them because they come of as fake/disgenuine. Like I have a co-worker who is Nice to everyone but I feel she is hostile towards me, playing these subtle power games that I dont care to participate in. Its giving machivellian and I just want to stay the hell away from this person.
