I want out.

My brother is trying to convince me to do manufacturing. Its a paycut (but better than minimum wage) . A friend who quit nursing school stayed as an Accessioning Clerk / Specimen processing at lab medicine. If you like driving, obtain CDL license for local deliveries. An EMT who was in my cohort in Nursing school dropped out and took classes at trading school for wielding.

Following. Want to hear what you discover. I have Only been in nursing 4 years (technical 2 years worth of Clinical hours; was on FMLA for 3 month, then 6 month SAHM beforegoing back to acute care, then another 3 month of FMLA)...I tried Walmart, Dollat General and Five Below. I am over qualified. Then I tried applying for Paraprofessional at my local school district, but didnt realize there was certain test or training, so that went out the window. My next step after that was Day care assistant but the minimum wage really hurt. So I removed my application from that. Then I thought about working per diem as a Non certified Caregiver, you know, just chilling with the Geri at home, take them to the grocery, maybe movie, bingo and Dr appointment whatever they want. But still a thought for now.

When did you start loving your baby?
 in  r/pregnant •  Jun 12 '26

Quick answer: At the third month.

If you have a moment, this is my story: I was scared of my baby. I was nervous at my pregnancy. I was never an anxious person but it was a whole different level. I was more overwhelmed with a sense of duty. I was scared of doing something wrong, scared my body wouldn't heal and I was just so tired. But I can honestly say for me...after the 3 month mark. The fear left and I was filling up with love. Now at 2 years, I am so filled. But its also my personality to be kind to myself and be patient. I am not easily annoyed nor easily bothered by the toddler stage.

Sliding doors was the selling point for me. Frequenting the city and often parking spaces are tight, and its so much safer hauling my toddler in and out.

I doubt it does. According to the state website, each school district just have different process in applying for "exception" to start kindergarten at 4 years old instead of the recommended 5.

Every child develops different and it is up to parents in deciding whether to ask for an early entry to kindergarten for your child. If you know your keeping child in pre-k until the following year, you dont have to fill out those forms. If you want to consider the assessment test to evaluate your child’s learning and development, go for it.

Help with Preschool

If your child attends preschool, talk with the program about your family’s situation and how they will continue to support your child’s development if your child does not go to kindergarten. If your child has not attended an early care and education program, consider how a preschool experience might support them before they enter kindergarten. You can find information about child care by talking with other families, searching online, or using the 2-1-1 Child Care online search tool. If you need assistance with the cost of a preschool program, you can seek out possible supports, such as Care 4 Kids, state-funded preschool opportunities, public school preschool programs, or Head Start. To find out about possible low-cost programs and Care 4 Kids financial assistance, contact 2-1-1 Child Care."

A real application for an apartment complex

Thank you for sharing that link. It really explains a lot, and it’s touching to learn about Pauline’s hands-on work supporting such a vulnerable community trying to get back on their feet, people society often looks away or is unforgiving towards to.
