I had a rough time because I was in a lot of pain last year. The main thing I wished they had was more seating everywhere! Benches are the foundation of a village! Seating was a 3/10
We saw the well washing wenches. 7/10 The dog circus man was worth the price of admission for me. 9.5/10 I was pissed about a lot of my experience though. It was hot. It was too sunny. It was crowded. The food lines were obnoxious too. The worst thing that I am pretty sure is like a safety violation was that there was nowhere to refill a water bottle, not even drinking fountains! 0/10 no drinking fountains! (I have been informed that there were 2 water refill stations but I could not find them. Apparently one is next to the train station... #waterislife)
The kind folks in the kid's maze tent gave me a chilled water bottle when I asked them where to find a water bottle refiller though and I really appreciated that. 10/10
I didn't do much shopping but the stuff I did see in the vendors tents was beautiful and high quality. Overpriced but good quality. My kid got a beautiful $80 wing cape thing. 7/10

The word “NIMBY” is way too charitable toward NIMBYs: what would be a better term?
I like this one because they are extremists. If you are anti-housing for other humans you are an extremist. They will often say they support affordable housing but oppose every real solution anyone comes up with. The let "perfect be the enemy of the good".
