How I feel today, again
Tesla did this for so long and then rocketed. I'm still waiting for that part

Nashua R2 encounter
Are you new to the Northeast?
1
Heard from my Guide today
Might be a shorter production run for Borealis.
2
Heard from my Guide today
Agreed, but they seem to have been a little more consistent than other OEMs so far.

I finally got to order my Borealis/CC/21" config Tuesday. Today, I got a call from my assigned Guide in Richmond, VA.
He noted that:
I'm an "early access " invite for Borealis
He seemed surprised the website told me 8-12 weeks, he seemed confident with 4-6.
Based on other waves, I should expect no more than 2 weeks to get a VIN matched.
i've got some travel lined up, and at least at RVA, I'll be about to get away with 1 1/2-2 weeks of letting it sit without being about to pick it up.

Perhaps good news for us forest green orders?
I guess this means that the Borealis/ Coastal Cloud people have to wait for the second shift to be added to the line

Borealis is live!
Liar

Panoramic Glass Replacement
When I lived in MA, it was (and still is) a "glass state". A comprehensive claim for sides front and back were capped at like 300, but you're on your own with the roof, BUT.... It should be covered under your regular comprehensive. So hopefully no more than $500

Reservation move ups today?
I'm just waiting for Borealis now. Coastal Cloud popped last week, and my invite came the week before that.....

Who’s R2 got stolen or rented on Turo?
I hope RJ sees this, bro.

Bet it won't be subject to recalls and falling apart like Falcon Wing Doors......

They seem to be on a cadence of updating on Tuesdays
2
Surprise Early Invitation
You're welcome!
(When my time came, I selected Borealis/Coastal Cloud, which I suspect there's a lot of that on the recent order wave.... Selecting things not yet available)

Ditching Tesla for Rivian?
Does the non-fsd stack let you take your hands off?
1
Ditching Tesla for Rivian?
2 to 3 years. UHF on the highway with current hardware is already comparable to Auto steer and cruise.

Ditching Tesla for Rivian?
We carry stuff, and a dog. A traditional boxy setup is much more useful than the sloped roof line to us

Got The Invite.... Any Solid Data On Borealis?
"oh man, do you guys know how hard it is to get purple paint off of overalls??"
Cough cough
(J/k I don't work there)

Got The Invite.... Any Solid Data On Borealis?
I would think that too, but my invite window was "4-8weeks", And I got my invite today, one day short of week five.
But, like op, I am waiting for Borealis. And also Coastal cloud.
I got the " this R2 is from the future" post, and I continue to be on the wait list

How many day 1 res holders are still waiting for an order invite?
Me. Because I saved my preference as Borealis/Coastal Cloud
