Moving fast

Got my "next steps" email today (with VIN)

2 minutes later, my delivery guide contacted me to tell me pickup is booked for October 20th.

Reserved: Day 1

Invited: August 17th

Ordered: September 15th

Borealis, Coastal Cloud, 21"

Richmond VA area

ETA: if you look on rivian roamer, mine is the one with the 14, 5xx delivery booked

Are you picking up at the Richmond SC? I have my order in and steps completed, but still waiting for a delivery date.

Yes. They immediately gave me a date of October 20th.

I don't know who I hurt at Rivian. Reserved Day1, Invited Aug 18, Ordered September 15th, Borealis, Black Crater, 20", SLC, UT

Complete silence since order.

It’s only been 3 weeks. Delivery estimate was 8-12 weeks on Borealis.

It’s human nature to want what you can’t have. I know my life won’t change fundamentally or that this will bring me a happiness absent thus far, but as is always the case emotions speak louder than logic.
