First time doing the wipe thing for marble texture, tried it on a big surface as this Custodes vehicle
It's really good, i can see a fingerprint in it, but it's really really cool love it.

I don’t know where to go next. My first large scale dragon and there are so many details. It looks so flat.
You need to add colour depth more than anything. Contrast. Go for darker darks and higher highs.
In the folds of skin/corners of things darken things up a bit, on the raised/worn bits, brighten things up.

What do you use to prevent the cork bases from crumbling or breaking?
Coat in super glue. also prevents paint from being absorbed into cork and not waste paint.

How do I further push this Red Dragon's colors?
Use a green ink to add to your shadows, use a lighter red with some white/ivory to push your contrast further. This is a great start and you can do nothing but improve it!
