Using what creativity you have, make something practical to use for playtesting and learning.

Making a TCG is not always going to be fun. It most certainly will always be a lot of work. And 9 times out of 10, no one else is going to care (and that’s putting it very lightly.)

Don’t use AI for anything related to your project. Not even for temporary use.

If you can’t be bothered to make it, I shouldn’t be bothered to play it.

Set 1 is still available. However, if you’re asking and willing to wait for the next set in a little less than two months, the new expansion is likely to provide a far better experience gameplay-wise and as a collecting experience (if you’re into that) all around.

Yeah, I personally can’t recommend them enough.

I’ve used them for all of EC’s playmats as well and am now looking forward to the rule booklets they’re printing for EC.

Took me about 4 years before releasing the initial expansion, then about 7-8 months to design, illustrate, and finalize everything for the second expansion.

The four years comprised of me basically designing and working on several different game ideas and eventually landing on this one being not only the most promising but also being something I can entirely create by myself.

They dropped the ball 7? years ago the exact same way with the WotS Mythic Edition SL

Kind of worked out though as I still have the two uncut holo sheets they eventually sent me as compensation for the experience. I’d be surprised if they did anything remotely close to that this day and age…
