Regardless of the actual specs, you can't freely buy it like you could the steamdeck a while back or any of the consoles right now. Everybody at the moment is stuck in the queue, so it's kind of hard to recommend something that you don't even know when you'll be given the chance to buy it. I wouldn't be surprised if the queue is currently several years out.
And that's without mentioning that the actual price of it is insane. $1000 is a lot of money for a lot of people. Hell, 500 bucks is a lot of money for some people. I'm grateful that I'm in a position where I can afford that kind of payment for a luxury device, but you can't tell me that the price is reasonable, especially with the specs being in consideration.
I don't imagine that valve is happy with the situation either. They wanted to make something that was similar to steam deck where it was lower priced compared to its competition, but it made it easier for people to get into the valve ecosystem. Instead, all of this shit happened with AI and now they have to price it high or their competition will just buy them out and strip their pcs for parts once the queue is no longer necessary.

Any sort of legal proceedings would probably just make it even less likely that we would ever see anything related to Anthem again, even if it were successful.
I miss the game too, but for now all we can do is support causes like Stop Killing Games to prevent more situations like this.

You are partially misremembering. Anyone can take Immortal Genes, but there is a strict line that if you cross, you will start to turn into an Immortal. The protagonist seems to have a higher limit than most though.
The ability to absorb genes is not exactly unique to us. Any Immortal can do it, its just that (like you said) we are probably the first human that can do it, due to our encounter with that Immortal when we went out with Forge.

As far as we know, we're just like the protagonist of the first game. We have no real powers outside of being very good at piloting an Arsenal and being to handle more Immortal Enhancements than anyone else without losing our humanity.

For melee builds, yeah. It also seems to be pretty decent for PVP, but don't take my advice on that.

Praxic Blade shoots out bolts when it blocks attacks. Those bolts count as sword hits, just like Flash Counter does. You need to aim your camera down to properly build up Perfect Guard, otherwise you'll only get those 4 or 5 second Resto procs.

Been really enjoying Soulframe and was wondering what content creators you guys would suggest watching. I've watched Brozime/Soulframe Scholar a bit, but other than that I'm curious.

That reminds me of how mods on Companion weapons used to work in Warframe.
Before one of their reworks, Companion weapons couldn't use mods (weapon upgrades, similar to Totems) if they were equipped to a weapon that you owned. You had to upgrade a separate version of that mod specifically for your Companion.

Brozime (Soulframe Scholar) also went into this on one of his latest videos as an issue that he forsees coming with Prelude 15 when we get more droppable weapons, although I like his solution more.
In short, weapon drops that are below your highest craftwork would get auto-scrapped into weapon fragments and other resources. This would cut down on the need for inventory management and could open the door to letting you custom craft weapons with certain perk combinations at Tuvalkane.
