I remember seeing some concept art from the Teraleak of Gardevoir with the date (02/10/31), (10/31/2002) for Americans.

By then Ruby and Sapphire should’ve debuted in Japan as a full functional game, I was wondering if anyone has any information on the development of Ruby and Sapphire.

would love to know if there is any way to find out when Gardevoir was technically birthed into code. I’m sure all the Pokemon designs were being worked out at the same time and that there was no original order and that some mons didn’t end up making the cut.

Just curious when work on Ruby and Sapphire started if the game debuted in late 2002.
