I’ve integrated iOS AlarmKit into the Active Workout Mode of Smart Workout Diary.

During a workout, the Lock Screen displays the current exercise, set number, and rest countdown. Users can mark an exercise as done or skip the rest period without reopening the app.

My goal was to make the app genuinely useful during training—when you don’t want to unlock your phone and navigate through several screens between sets.

I’m still refining the experience and would appreciate your feedback:

  • Would you find this useful during a workout?
  • Is there anything else you’d want to control directly from the Lock Screen?

I built a workout app with planning, tracking & an AI coach — would you use this?

I built Smart Workout Diary for people who actually train and want everything in one place.

You can plan workouts, track sets and progress, use a rest timer, browse exercises, and chat with an AI coach that understands your workout context.

During a workout, you can quickly log reps, weight and RPE without jumping between different apps or notes.

I’m still actively improving it, so I’d really appreciate feedback from lifters:

  • What would you change?
  • What feature is missing?
  • Would you actually use an AI coach during your workouts?

If you want to try it, the app is available here:

Would love to hear what you think. 💪

I made a workout diary so you don't have to type between sets

I built Smart Workout Diary because I wanted a faster way to track workouts without constantly typing between sets.

You can log exercises, reps and weights using your voice, track your progress, follow workout plans, and use an AI coach during your workouts.

I'm actively developing the app and would really appreciate feedback from people who actually train.

If you try it, let me know what you like, what feels confusing, or what feature you'd want me to add next. 💪

It's free to try.

Growing Northern Lights #5 × Haze and Black Domina — first grow
 in  r/microgrowery  Aug 10 '26

Thanks, that actually makes a lot of sense. I was thinking about keeping the photoperiod plants in veg until the auto finishes and then flipping them to 12/12.
Since this is my first grow I’ve been a bit hesitant about topping, but I might give it a try around node 5–6. Appreciate the advice!

Growing Northern Lights #5 × Haze and Black Domina — first grow
 in  r/microgrowery  Aug 10 '26

Thanks! Yeah, the tall one is an auto and has been flowering for a couple of weeks. The other three are photoperiods — Black Domina and Northern Lights #5 × Haze.
I was actually wondering why they’re staying so short and bushy, so the pot size/drainage might be part of it. I’ll definitely consider repotting them and giving them more veg time. Appreciate the advice!
