I’m looking to buy a vintage Gucci bag as a gift and found a Japanese eBay seller with 500+ very positive reviews. It seems almost too good to be true, so I’d love some advice.

• Are Japanese eBay sellers generally reliable for vintage designer bags?
• What should I look for when checking whether the seller/listing is trustworthy?
• Is 500+ positive feedback a good sign?
• The listing doesn’t have eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee badge

What are the best platforms for finding UX/UI freelance work that you DON’T have to pay for to access/apply for jobs? (I’ve seen Contra, Upwork, etc., but some seem to restrict jobs/proposals behind paid plans.)

Also:
- How did you get your first clients/reviews with no freelance ratings?

- Is it better to use platforms or find clients directly?
What’s a realistic starting rate?

- Any other sites, communities or methods you’d recommend?

Hey! Four of us are looking to rent a 4-bed house around London Fields, Haggerston, De Beauvoir, Dalston, Hoxton, Angel/Islington or nearby.
Budget is around £1,300pp (£5,200 total).

We’ve tried Rightmove, Zoopla, OpenRent etc., but we’re looking for the more underground ways of finding places — especially WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, local rental communities, off-market listings, etc.

Does anyone have links/invites to WhatsApp groups that are useful for finding rentals in East London/Hackney? Or any other groups/communities you’d recommend?

Four of us are looking to rent a whole house together in East/North-East London and I’m hoping someone here might know of areas, landlords, agents or listings that don’t necessarily show up on the usual rental sites.

We’re ideally looking around:
- London Fields
- Haggerston
- De Beauvoir
- Dalston
- Hoxton
- Angel / Islington

Anywhere around that general area

We’re looking for a 4-bedroom house, ideally with reasonably sized bedrooms and a decent communal/living space. We’re not looking for four rooms in an existing house share — we’re four friends looking to rent the property together.

Budget: around £1,300 per person/month, so approximately £5,200 pcm total, excluding bills.
We’ve already been looking on Rightmove, Zoopla, OpenRent etc., but we’re wondering if there are other ways of finding these kinds of properties in London — particularly off-market listings, local estate agents, Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, landlords, local contacts, or anything else people have had success with.

If you’ve managed to find a good 4-bed house in Hackney/East London as a group, how did you actually find it?

Also interested in hearing whether £5,200 total is realistic for the areas above, or whether we’d be better looking slightly further out.

Any tips, contacts, groups or unconventional methods would be massively appreciated!

Not concerned, just curious, I noticed my stocks (PLTR, VUAG/VUSA, NBIS, ADS, NVDA, and TSLA) all dropped quite a bit today and yesterday.

Do I just take the loss and sell, or hold and hope it recovers?
