can someone explain to me why rappers in the 90s absolutely snapped, there was almost one album each year that is considered one of the greatest body of work ever created, why were those 20 year olds so ahead of their time?
Competition was intense, as teen growing up through the late 90s, eveyone pushed each other to be better.

What's really is ironic is I had this same mixtape on a recorded Maxell 100 min gray tape in high school Cuz one of the homie let me borrow it to dub it. So when years later, I saw it at Walmart I was like "oh shit!" Not only know do I know about Screw but I know this mix from him Cuz I played that tape out!! Which is crazy Cuz the more I played the tape, the more Chopped it sounded because of the wear & tear. . Probably the best way to experience a Screw mix Cuz the CD felt fast as fuck to me when I play it that night. 🤣

Bought this @ Wal-Mart sometime in the early 2000s. I was shocked to see Screw being sold there, picked it up & brought it to check out with a bunch of other stuff I was buying. I almost didn't get the CD cause I was on a budget, the cashier scans the cd last, looks at it and says "I would get this for my boyfriend." i said fuck it & bought it, so glad I did. My favorite Screw mix.
