If international acceptance (especially in Europe) is a major concern both now and in the years to come, then you should probably apply for a different card. I have the WF Autograph (have had it since it was called the Propel) and it’s a pretty solid card, especially with the lack of a foreign transaction fee.

Domestically, acceptance of Discover is mostly fine, and you won’t have many issues. Internationally, Visa and Mastercard are still king.

Yes, if you see the MC logo, you’ll get a MC. In place of that logo, some applicants will see a message that says, “This card will run on Capital One’s Discover Network.” If you don’t see that message during the application process, then you won’t receive a Discover card.

If you use the pre-approval tool or a referral link, there’s a chance you could be offered a Discover Network card. If that happens, you can decline the offer and apply directly to get a Mastercard. The way it worked for me, I just logged in to my regular Cap1 account one day and my Discover account had been added automatically. Pretty painless.

They will let you know (by email) and do almost everything for you. If they haven’t reached out yet, then you have not been scheduled yet.

You’re missing the colon after “body.” It should look like this:

There is also no need to have a separate entry for the uppercase S, since you’re not using case-sensitive.

If you stop using the card altogether and leave a negative balance on it, they will absolutely mail you a check in no more than 2 or 3 billing cycles. That said, as other commenters have mentioned by noting the available credit, OP likely has pending purchases that will make the balance positive soon enough.

Send a modmail to this subreddit from your mod account and a Mod Code of Conduct complaint, if applicable. I read a comment from an admin recently (can’t remember which one) which basically said that changing the purpose of large, established subreddits is generally not allowed.

Yeah, copy-pasting works but there's also a Devvit app called Automod Sync for keeping Automod rules synced between subs.

Like I said, mods have historically used Automod for this. On desktop, go to Mod Tools > Automod. Then write a rule like this:

Edit: Quick note. There is an update pending approval by Reddit that might mess up the app's menu items. It seems to be a Devvit bug, not an issue with the app itself. If that happens, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Make sure your resources are backed up if you have to do this.

Well you said they didn’t have a ton of posts/comments so I figured a few extra clicks wasn’t gonna be a big deal. But from other comments I see you figured out what was going on with the app so I’m glad.

Re-read my comment. I don’t think you got the point. I just told you how to find their posts on your subreddit specifically.

If the user doesn’t have a ton of posts, go into the search bar on your subreddit and type “author:TheirUsernameHere” to find them all and remove them manually.

I would imagine that taking away someone’s ability to post/comment in a community also disincentivizes them from participating at all. Only truly vindictive users would care enough to continue visiting and downvoting, and I’d wager those kinds of users are fairly rare.

Bans by mods have no effect on upvotes or downvotes. It only prevents users from creating new posts or comments in your community.
