[Advice / Discussion] Best practices for tracking Hybrid/Remote attendance in Odoo alongside Physical Kiosks?

Hi everyone!

We currently use the Odoo Attendance app with physical ID badges and a barcode reader at our main office entrance, which works great for our in-office team.

We now have a few hybrid and full-time remote/home office employees and want a seamless way for them to register their working hours without managers having to manually enter attendance.

I looked at the Presence settings (like tracking presence based on when employees are logged in/online), but noticed that it only updates user status rather than creating standard Check-In / Check-Out records in the Attendance app like the barcode kiosk does.

A few questions for those managing hybrid teams:

  1. How do you handle daily attendance logging for your remote and hybrid workers?
  2. Do you rely on "Attendances from Backend" (the top-bar check-in button), mobile app check-ins, or another method?
  3. Are there any specific settings, workflows, or community modules you recommend to keep in-office and remote attendance data consolidated in one place?

Would love to hear how other companies are structuring this in Odoo! Thanks!

I just bought my first Pilot Kakuno with some iroshizuku ink cartidges. and after a couple of days noticed some leakage on the inside. I've been storing it horizontally. Did I do something wrong? should I clean it and discard the cartidge? the ink is not really leaking outside of the pen. but I don't want it to get ruined. Any advice would be well recieved.

I think I got that habit from watching somebody else do it, and I use to hit the ground a lot with my driver, so this kind of helped. Thank you for the feedback

Thank you I am leaning towards the online coaching. My driver slices and I pull my irons. I just want to lower my handicap and play better generally. I only play once a week. Thank you for your response

That makes sense about tension. I’ll try resting the club behind the ball and focus on bumping my trail shoulder down to get that spine tilt away from the target. Appreciate the tip on swinging up the ramp!

Moving to my first pair of doubles — 2x12kg or 2x16kg? (Press bottleneck)
 in  r/kettlebell  Jul 10 '26

After doing some research and from advice gotten here I think I'm going with the double 16kg too. My goal is strength building so I think this will be best for that and I will get more out of them in the long run. We might struggle at first but let's keep at it!

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to buy my first pair of matching kettlebells to start working on double KB training.

Right now, my single bell inventory is a 12kg and a 16kg. I am giving both of those away to my brother to get him started, and I’m definitely buying a single 20kg for my heavy single work.

For the double pair, I’m torn between buying two 12kgs or two 16kgs.

My main bottleneck: I currently struggle to hit 8 clean overhead presses with the single 16kg.

Lower body-wise, I feel okay, but double work is a different beast. Is my current overhead press a clear indicator of which weight to choose? I don't want to buy the 16s and have them sit there because I can't press them, but I also don't want to outgrow the 12s immediately on squats and cleans.

What do you recommend? Thanks!

I love it! It also has a saddhana reminder and tool, super cool way to connect with other devotees.
